Disliked: It's a bit far from the center The room is open for everybody, we didn't have a key... The bathroom and the room were not very clean

Liked: The beds were clean and there is free WIFI, towels and breakfast. It's only a 10 minutes walk from the trains station (Amsterdam Centraal).

Disliked: Apart from the good thinks mentioned above, everything else was quiet bad. It is a rundown hotel, most dorms a located in the basement with only a tiny window. The 10-bed-dorm had its own bathroom but it was not very clean. Also the room i was in hat NO LOCK on the door, so everyone could have just walked in. Also you don't have to identify yourself at the check-in, so everyone can just walk in and out as they please. No Lockers either, so if you decide to stay take all your valuables with you. There is a small common room at the reception, but it doesn't invite to stay, so don't expect to meet new people in the hostel. But if you just looking for a bed and spend the whole day and night in the city, it is "not so bad".

Liked: THE LOCATION IS THE ONLY ONE POSITIVE ASPECT

Disliked: AS WE ARRIVED THERE WERE NO PLACES FOR US.THE RECEPTIONIST TRYED TO PACKT US IN ANOTHER HOTEL WHERE WE HAVE BEEN OFFERED A SIDE ROOM 3Mx3M WITHOUT WINDOWS AND ANY VENTILATION BUT WITH " BUNK BEDS. iN THE NIGHT I HEARD MOUSES IN THE ROOM AND IN THE MORNING I NOTICED THAT MY FOOD BAG WAS BITTEN....

Liked: It was very close from the city, can walk to all atractions in Amsterdam and it is also close to central train station. Breakfast was good.

Disliked: There weren't hot water in the bathroom and the shower didn't work properly. No lookers neither but this is not a big deal though

Liked: Friendly and Helpful staff. Good in Room facilities

Disliked: Hotel Toilets were atrocious Roof leaked in massive downpour in other parts of the hotel.

Liked: the dining area and reception look welcoming and cosy, and the breakfasts are good.

Disliked: the view of the hotel from the street is deceptive. what you can see from the window looks great, but when you actually get upstairs you find treacherous staircases, crowded rooms, filthy bathrooms and absolutely no security for your valuables. the staff have nothing to offer you in the way of tourist information, only a map which they do not explain to you. terrible experience.

Liked: I liked that the staff were polite and friendly towards us. It wasn't too far from the centre of Amsterdam and the wi - fi was very good. I'd reccomend it for people travelling on a budget who don't might roughing it a bit, though. The breakfast was quite good also.

Disliked: It was very dirty and in need of restoration, that much was clear from the onset. It smelled a bit odd in the hall also, and the door to our room was so hard to open. It's such a pity though - with a good scrub and a few licks of paint and repairs, this place would be restored to its former glory!

Disliked: The bathroom stank like urine

Liked: The location is central to all of the popular attractions in Amsterdam & the train station. Free breakfast.

Disliked: The rooms do not provide any security for your items. The door on room did not lock, let alone close. The front desk offers a safe for your items but I would not rely on it. There is no verification of which items you have put in their custody. Not worth the expensive rates.

Liked: It is the only hostel that allowed me to book for one night only during the weekend in the high season (August)

Disliked: the dorms are very noisy and there is no way you can sleep if you come in late (what else in Amsterdam!?)... it seems that the doors in this hostel creak more than normal, slam louder and bathrooms in the dorms are inside the room itself, so you can hear everyone doing their business.

Liked: the location

Disliked: slept 16 people in one small room with one bath/toilet. There was always water on the floor in the bathroom, and it seemed overall unclean. The beds were bad, and the door to the room was always open to everyone.

Liked: The location, the breakfast and the free internet were god.

Disliked: They do not say that the rooms are in the 4th floor, without lift, and with smalls stairs. Also, the bathroom had everything broke. The price they charge for the bed is too high.

Liked: Location... just that

Disliked: Dirty Front Desk, Dirty Bathrooms, Dirty Rooms, No linen in bed... It was so disgusting that i just used the Hostel to leave my Bag (they don't have lockers whatsoever)

Liked: Location was only 5-10 minute walk from Amsterdam central station Clean sheets and towel everyday. Bathroom in every room. Good reception Breakfast was good, with eggs, ham cheese etc

Disliked: There were too many beds in the room. Needs more things for entertaining There wern't any locks on the door

Disliked: Soooo many steps, and bathrooms could be cleaner. But overall is quite nice.

Liked: Free breakfast. So much coffee!! Only like a 10-15 minute walk to the Red Light District.

Disliked: There was no key for the room. It was 'dormitory style' so anyone could walk into the room with like the 15 beds or whatever it was. Bathroom wasn't so clean, but what else can you expect?

Liked: The only thing i liked was that it was close to the center

Disliked: There was mold everywhere, and the hot water was turned off for half the day.

Liked: Good location (5-10 min walk from/to Central Station), helpful staff, free internet and breakfast provided

Disliked: dirty old room with some broken facilities eg. heater was not working, stayed 1 night in a dorm rather than private double ensuite as booking, however, the next day we changed to the correct room
