Liked: Much better than the Kathmdndu Guesthouse, which is owned by the same people. Quiet, being outside Thamel.

Disliked: Distance from Thamel, for shopping and a range of restaurant choices. But this distance is an advantage because its quiet here.

Liked: nice location. resort itself is nicely developed. relaxing place to stay

Disliked: no hot water - for 2 whole days in Jan when very cold! plus heating was a bit wonky. for the price, it was not cheap, really expensive, we expected at least hot water when night temperatures are well below zero. i think it is not getting basics right for the price they charge.

Liked: I don't even categorize this hotel as hostel. It's a very nice, clean and organized hotel/resort. The rooms are huge, complete with pool, spa, tennis court, gym. Very peaceful and relaxing place to be--great get away place.

Liked: The peaceful surroundings and large spaced rooms. Also the cleanliness was good and staff helpful.

Liked: It was fantastic value for money, extremely helpful and friendly staff. The only down side was a 15mins taxi from Thamel, the main centre with the shops and bars. However the 2 minute walk to get up into the mountains more then made up for this, as well as the quiet surroundings which were a welcome break from the hustle and bustle, not to mention Tiger Balm sellers, of Tamel.
