Liked: Hotel Thamel is a quiet, no frills, friendly hotel with lots of character. I found it fantastic value for money: A hot shower in an on suite bathroom; room made up every day; a warm and cosy breakfast room; friendly but unobtrusive service. The location was perfect: in Thamel but just off the main thoroughfare. I can't recommend it highly enough.
