The district offers many shops and boutiques and restaurants. Windhoek’s famous restaurant, Joes’ Beer House, with its beer gardens and game cuisine, is only a few hundred meters away from the hotel and the city centre is only 15 minutes walking distance.

From city center:

There are 2 routes from the city:

1) Look out for Pupkewitz Toyota at Independence Avenue; turn into Nelson Mandela Avenue; past Joes’Beer House on your left and O’Portuga Restaurant on your right. Look for Roof of Africa on your left.
2) Enter Sam Nujoma Road from Independence on the way to International Airport. Turn left at the inter-junction of Nelson Mandela & Sam Nujoma. Pass BP Garage and look out for Roof of Africa on your right.
