Liked: The only hotel we stayed in in Morocco, the Royal Hotel was clean, functional and exactly what we'd hoped. We got a room with a balcony overlooking the park and the mosque, and the shower was brilliant. A very decent breakfast too, with more bready options than usual sugar drenched Moroccan breakfast. The receptionist's excellent English also helped overcome my very basic French!

Disliked: Not a great deal of character, but then you wouldn't expect much from a hotel.

Liked: It was functional rather than anything special. Somewhat lacking in atmosphere compared to the Moroccan riads we stayed in. The breakfast was nice though.

Disliked: We booked a double room but were put in a room with two single beds so we had to shove them together.

Liked: I only stayed one night, but love it. Extremely nice and helpful staff, right in the heart of the city centre - super easy to find, nice breakfast and very decent room. A bit noisy at night, but I guess that's what you can expect due to the location.

Liked: The breakfast was the best part! Free wifi. Good location.

Disliked: As far as value, it's a joke. This place is average at best. The towels were like cardboard when you were drying your skin. Everything is really old in the room. There was a funky stench coming from the bathroom at all times. The lady that worked behind the counter came off as rude to me when I asked for a map and for directions. If this place was 20 euros a night it would be better.

Liked: Nice hotel but a bit overpriced. Rooms are clean as is the bathroom. Staff is friendly and helpful.

Disliked: Breakfast is scanty, it's not much and I've had better during my stay in Morocco. There is internet but it's not free.
