Liked: This is not an atmospheric Ryad-style traditional Moroccan hotel dripping with character (it's in a modern area), but a perfectly competent modern hotel run by friendly and helpful stafff. It's about 5 minutes' walk from the station and provides a good standard of clean accommodation with quiet en suite rooms for about half the price of the Ibis. For a convenient and good value-for-money base in Oujda, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it.
Disliked: The hot water was a little slow to come through, but it did work, so it would be very harsh to criticise the Royal for this.
