Liked: It was beautiful inside and quiet. There were only a few people staying there so it was very low key which was nice after being haggled on the streets all day.
Disliked: There was a smell in some areas, of sulfur

Liked: Given that this is among one of the cheaper Marrakech options I wasn't expecting much, but the road itself is beautiful and set 5 minutes back from the main road so in theory it's quiet.
Disliked: The family basically live as normal in the road which is nice but given that there are no doors and they sit in the bottom of the courtyard all day there is never any quiet and you can hear all their conversations and activities late into the night. There were no other travellers during my stay and my sheets had not been changed since the previous guest.

Liked: Many people told us to look for a cheaper hostel but I think it was totally worth it. Y actually felt like I was at my own home with my family waiting for me. We even made a party with somefriends that were staying at another hotel and the staff was really friendly with them.
Disliked: Only that the first day we had a little bit of a hard time finding it but by the second day we learn the directions :P

Liked: Friendly staff -- Mustafa the doorman was very nice, quick to respond and flexible. Since it is a about a 10/15 minute walk from the square, it is a little quieter, which was good for a worn out traveler (but not good if you want to meet people). The facilities were all very clean. The Riad itself was beautiful and simple.
Disliked: The showers were lukewarm at best. If you aren't used to navigating the medina, the riad can be a little hard to find. Just have the address to give to the taxi driver and he should get you to the parking lot where and then you can call the front desk and they will send someone out to help you find your way in.

Liked: I stayed ın a 6 bed form the room was relly cute had mattresses on the floor. The area for breakfast ıs really nıce and the bathroom was clean
Disliked: I got a taxı to drop me off and I could not fınd my way as the souks are too small for cars, a man wıth a wheel barrow for my bag helped me fınd the place, but thats Marrakesh ıts really easy to get lost. The guy that worked there was helpful but a lıttle too frıendly, made me feel pretty uncomfortable

Liked: friendly staff, polite people, really clean rooms, very nice interior, safe
Disliked: no breakfast, we came in late evening and we had problems to find it (it is in long small street, not on map...), you have to ask people where it is (prepare about 10 drh for this information) or try to find it on other hostel page where the owners put correct map...

Liked: An Amazing Riad in an ideal location. Helpful friendly staff. beautiful center court and roof terrace. We had paid for three people in a four person shared dorm but were given the choice of rooms when we arrived and got a three bed private room that was even nicer than the room we paid for. Just one example of the amazing hospitality shown to us while we were there. The map on this site is a little off, if you look at the green marker and look for the parking just below it, to the right of this parking is Rue de la Bahla, walk down this street, about 200m down it will take a sharp and narrow right then left then right then left, these happen one after the other in a zig zag, you will go through an arch and just a few meters after this arch is a road leading off to the left, the first door on the right is the Riad If you get to Djane Ben Chegra you have gone slightly too far.
Disliked: Nothing I disliked about the Riad really The only annoyance is that some of the "guides" who will insist on showing you the way can be a bit pushy when it comes to tipping, most are genuine guys who will accept a reasonable tip but some (watch out for the youngish guy with the limp) will try and push for a lot more than reasonable..... But this isn't really the Riad's fault

Liked: The Riad is a short walk off one of the main shopping streets which lead off Djemaa el Fna, the main square. It can be a bit disconcerting trying to find a Riad on your own if it's the first time - we wandered quite close but couldn't find it, so we gave a local guy 10 dirham to take us -very friendly helpful and no pressure whatsoever. The Riad is lovely, decorated in traditional style, with an interior courtyard. The room was nice, basic but clean, and there's a nice roof terrace with a great view. The biggest advantage is the price and the location (just 5 minutes from the Palace Bahia, Spice markets and Jewish quarters, 10 from Djemaa el Fna). There are more luxurious riads but if you want value for money this one is great. We stayed in a shared room, there were 3 of us and the room slept six, with an ensuite bathroom (shower and toilet). I saw other rooms in the Riad and they were all nice.
Disliked: To get there on your own the first time is quite difficult, but you can get any number of local lads to help you for a few dirham and a smile. The people around there are relaxed and friendly. You can get by in French, English or Spanish. Most of the Riads are a little off the main thoroughfares and along back streets, but they are safe and secure.

Liked: Really nice house, perfect atmosphere, nice roof terrace and beautiful rooms. They made us breakfast in the roof terrace at the time that we asked and arranged other stuff as well.
Disliked: They didn't speak much english. The website said that towels were included, but then when we were 9 people they said that they are not included for groups, although we got the towels later. Lots of difficulties with counting the costs, took almost half an hour. No door in the room's toilet, only a shower curtain, which was kind of problem in the 6 persons room. Despite all this I would still come here again and recommend this.

Liked: The place was beautiful as in the pictures with a courtyard and a terrace with ok views. Friendly staff.
Disliked: We weren't given a key to the building or our room- not sure they even exist. We were told to be back before midnight and had to ring the bell to get in. It didn't end up being a problem, but it made me a little uneasy. Also, the dorms do not have lockers as advertised. Bathroom door consists of two thin curtains, a bit awkward with a dorm of people waiting outside while you're doing your business. Also, as mentioned in other reviews it is hard to find. It is not quite where it says on the map, though it's close (follow the long winding street opposite the parking lot and you'll get there eventually).

Liked: I liked the atmoshphere it was really arabic, the mint tea is perfect 15 mins on foot to the main square
Disliked: It was really cold, we were freezing all the time and it was noisy from the street and because of the echo of the bulinding I recommend it but just for the spring, summer to go to the main square you have to take small, narrow streets which is a bit terrific during the night
