Liked: The hotel is beautiful

Disliked: This was the WORST hotel we stayed in in Morocco. We arrived at 3PM and had to wait 2hours at reception for our room to be ready. They kept telling us "Please wait 5 minutes, this is because the people before you left the room late..." We realised after it was the case for everybody else checking in. There were lots of ants in the bedroom and they said it wasn't a problem. The internet is not free and expensive. We booked a shuttle to town and back for a certain time but the shuttle did not turn up as nobody at the hotel told the driver to come and pick us up from town. Every time we went to reception, there were customers queuing to complain... The staff kept ignoring us, they were very rude and arguing between them all the time. The reception manager even raised his voice at me. He was the most despicable man...Hardly anybody can speak English and they are not even trying. The reception manager even asked me( French native) to deal with a customer who was speaking English( and complaining about the internet facilities) as he could not understand her and was getting angry with her rather than just admit he could not speak English. So i had to explain her about the internet facilities instead of the staff. I used the cash machine at the reception to pay at the end but the money never came out of it while it has been withdrawn from my account. Again, the reception manager laughed when I explained it and would not believe me. I had a treatment in the spa which was a bit of a joke for the price it cost me, unsurprisingly... It was the most unwelcoming experience we've had in Morocco. We stayed 2 weeks in total in Morocco but only 3 nights in this hotel. We've had a fantastic experience staying in little riads in Fès, Meknès, Essaouira...but this last experience spoilt it completely...
