Historic: The Riad Sidi Magdoul is one of the oldest foundouk of the city, when Essaouira was still called Mogador. It takes its name from the local Saint (Sidi) Magdoul, first name of the ancient site. The Riad Sidi Magdoul is located just a few steps from the picturesque port (parking with municipal attendant) and the vast beach, in the heart of the artistic and artisan neighbourhoods of the Medina, souks, restaurants, galleries, cafes.
