Liked: Great friendly staff here - they were very helpful and hospitable, beautiful riad in centre of the medina, spotless rooms with lots of character. Although short (2nights) I had a very relaxed stay here, which further highlighted the laid back atmosphere of Essaouira, whatever you are looking for these guys are only too happy to help and point you in the right direction...definately one of the highlights of my time in Morocco - would definately recommend staying here!

Liked: Les Matins Bleus is a colourful and refreshing hotel, and completely in character with this beautiful coastal town. The 2 guys running the place were unbelievably helpful without being in any way overbearing, and the chill out rooms on the bottom floor were wonderful as you could play whatever music you wanted on the sound system while lounging on moroccan style cushions. Couldn't fault this place at all. I think this place is more of a budget boutique hotel (we stayed in a beautiful twin bed room) rather than a hostel.

Liked: The owners, three brothers were all incredibly helpful and nice. The actual hostel has heaps of charachter and breakfast on the terrace was incredibly satisfying. The location is very close to the main square and harbour.

Liked: The 2 brothers and cousin that run this place are great. There is always someone on reception and thet really go out of their way to be helpful and answer any questions you might have. The atmosphere is just lovely - very relaxed- and while the rooms are basic they are comfortable and clean.
