Liked: Traditional decor, helpful staff, very basic facilities within the room, good location.

Disliked: The bathroom walls and white suite desperately needed wiping down, the shower plug-hole needed unblocking too as when we used the shower the water overflowed out of the shower tray and allover the tiled bathroom floor. The white bed sheets also needed some TLC, there were a few stains here and there.

Liked: It's not far from the train station (20-30 dirhams by petit taxi), walking distance from the Hassan II mosque, wi-fi connection is available on the 1st floor, and nice breakfast.

Disliked: No heating in the rooms we stayed in, so it was a bit cold at night even with double blankets. Also we had to wait for a while for the water in the bathroom to become warm for showering.

Liked: Good location at the edge of the Medina which is right in the thick of the action but still easy to find. Really friendly hotel manager. Decent breakfast.

Disliked: One of the staff (not the friendly manager) refused to allow my Moroccan friend to enter the premises - although he did apologise for this the next day.

Liked: Excellent location, beautiful place, nice and comfortable rooms.

Disliked: Just that it could be difficult to find, but that is normal in a Medina, be sure to have the right indicactions, the map we took from google wasn't wright

Disliked: Room could use some heating - feels a bit damp. WiFi signal sometimes slow.

Liked: Hotel Central was clean and the staff were friendly. We were greeted every morning with delicious breakfast in the cafe, and every afternoon coming in from a day out by the owners who would shout a cheery hello from the cafe. Great spot backing right onto the medina and close to a main road where taxis are hailed easily.

Disliked: A little noisy, but to be expected given its location.

Liked: A very characterful old Hotel. Bright colours and close to the busy area but still quite.

Disliked: Breakfast was included, but very ordinary. Old bread and jam. Some of the staff need a good sleep and a bed, not just the common room lounge.

Liked: staff were always friendly internet access avaliable downstairs so you can socialize with others. unlimited mint tea. Nice breakfast - coffee, orange juice bread and crepes. Bed comfortable. Near the two train stations, medina and walking distance to places.

Disliked: Room was cold. I should have asked for a blanket but this is morocco in winter so get used to cold evenings.

Liked: The staff is one of the nicest I ever met in a hotel. Really helpful and friendly. We arrived during Ramadan, so the helped us out with tips where to eat. There was always fresh mint tea for free. At night we shared a hookah and talked for hours. The hotel is located in the Medina and the whole atmosphere felt really Moroccan. I really enjoyed my stay and will definitely stay there again the next time I am in Morocco.

Disliked: There was nothing I disliked. The rooms were old, but worth the money and the renovation of them already started.

Liked: The breakfast was good.

Disliked: The taxi cab service/arrangement was poorly planned and the guy at the desk had no excuse for why the taxi driver never showed up both times we had made arrangements. The hotel is really noisy. If you get a room that faces the street you will be kept awake by the roaring engines and the screaming men, women, and children. The atmosphere of the building seems dreary compared to the other colourful and vibrant hotels that we have stayed in in Morocco. It is very run-down. You end up paying too much for what you get.

Liked: The location was just great. The sound of the port in the morning can be a bit annoying, but it's nothing that really bothered us. The Hotel is located close to the Medina, where you can find good possibilities for cheap shopping (if your good in bargain).

Liked: My girlfriend and I stayed in this hotel for a few nights. The location was excellent as the giant mosque is just down the road and the medina is also not a far walk.

Disliked: The area could be a little sketchy but thats just Morocco as a whole. So if you keep to yourself you should be fine.

Liked: It was ok, but nothing in particular was very good

Disliked: Despite what it said on the website, there was no restaurant at the hotel. This was one of the main reasons fot me to choose this hotel because I (female, 23) was staying alone for one night here and didn't want to go outside searching for a restaurant by myself. However it turned out that hasn't been there for a long time and I was forced to go out looking for a place to eat, where I have been harrassed by pushy moroccan men the whole trip. So if you are a woman traveling alone, i would not recommend this hotel. If your not going alone it is ok, but the rooms are quite hot and noisy. There are also large differences between the different rooms. And I was unlucky to get a small one with a view on the neighbours' living room and a very recently painted bathroom....
