Liked: The central garden was nice.

Disliked: The shared bathrooms were not cleaned once during our 3 night stay and were already dirty when we arrived. The bins were not emptied in the bathroom and the toilets were constantly unpleasently blocked. There was also no hot water in the showers even though we were told there woul be. The staff were unfriendly, I think the servie was quite poor considering the cost of a twin room. The owner also wouldnt honour the deposit we paid on hostelbookers so had to pay the amount again when we arrived.

Liked: The garden inside is beautiful.

Disliked: You cannot use the kitchen. If you want hot water to make a little coffee, you have to pay 5 pesos Internet didn't work. The bathroom are not convenient, always wet because the shower is in the middle of the room, and there is nowhere to let our stuff. No hot water to wash your hands (and sometimes in the shower). No soap in bathroom, you have to manage your own paper... Once, the bathroom didn't work and were very dirty !

Liked: Lot's of parrots and atmosphere

Disliked: Lot's of nasty bugs. Hot water barely accessable. Definately not 24 hrs a day. Very unfriendly staff. No breakfast. (They even charged two cups of microwaved hot water for 2 dollars... even when they first said that would be free!!) Very small private bathroom.

Liked: I totally loved the place with its yard full of plants and parrots, nice clean rooms, terrasa with hammocks, it has so much character... It takes about 10 min to reach zocalo but the walk worth it. So far it was the most beautiful hostel I stayed at...

Disliked: there was nothing to dislike

Liked: Great place to stay in Oaxaca. Nice courtyard with lots of nce plants and parrots and good places to relax and enjoy the sunshine. Casa Arnal is a little bit away from the centre (20 min walk) but that didn't really bother me as the walk itself is very pleasant and takes you past the Santa Domingo church and down a nice street. Stay here if you can.

Disliked: No light's on after dark so difficult to find your way around. If it's raining you get soaked when you go to the bathroom.

Liked: It is a very nice place to stay in a trip or holiday. Everything is basic, but the hospitality is very good! It´s a very safe place and to get everywere is good by taxi what just costs like 2 euro to the centrum.
