Hotel Principal

'Hotel Pincipal' is an authentic hacienda style building that is centraly located from the 'Manuel Alvarez Museum'. The hotel features 23 rooms surrounding a white-washed, open courtyard decorated with wrought iron railings and clay pots planted with geraniums and bougainvillea; singles and doubles.

It is located 4 blocks north of the 'Zocalo', in the cleaner shopping district of the city. The rooms are immaculate and decorated with greek-style luxure. The on-site cafe is quite popular, especially in the morning because we serve authentic Oaxacan breakfasts. Our Hotel has a small library with a variety of English books which guests are welcomed to borrow. Our staff speaks English and Spanish.

'Hotel Principal', is located 1 block to the East and 1/2 blocks to the north of the Zócalo, it is a favorite Hotel of budget travelers for a long time. It is nearby the shops, museums, and restaurants, just great. Rooms are simply furnished. Three have balconies over the street; the rest are off the interior patio. Most have a double bed. All of the rooms are quiet.
