Liked: hotel has a good location, its near china town and with easy access to the KL hop-on hop-off bus. room has no breakfast included, but in the lobby you can buy coffe/tea and some cereals. also a 7/11 shop is very close. free WiFi!!

Disliked: rooms are quite characterless, old TV and some very little harmless bugs...

Liked: Basic rooms with much needed reliable air conditioning. The staff were very friendly and quite helpful. The area is interesting and action packed despite being pretty seedy. Good access to out of town buses.

Disliked: Didn't dislike much, but don't expect a lot. It's really just a place to sleep before taking a bus out of town the next day. Wifi doesn't stretch to some rooms. Complimentary coffee would be appreciated.

Liked: Awesome location near a lot of main attractions. Cheap, clean rooms. Good shower, beds, air conditioning etc.

Disliked: Slow Internet! Took 30 mins to load a 6 min YouTube clip. And it cuts out sometimes. Other than that nothing.

Liked: For the price it's good value. It's clean and has free wi fi. Location is quite good to....can easily walk to all major KL sights from here.

Disliked: I didn't dislike anything, but my girlfriend doesn't like showers that are next to/over the toilet seat.

Disliked: Not at all keen on the all-in-one shower,hand basin,toilet facilities,but this appears to be standard in many hotels/hostels in Asia.

Liked: Convenient for Puduraya bus station, China Town (genuine copies only) and for walking to the Financial district. Excellent Indian Restaurant next door - good quality food, friendly staff and reasonably priced. Hotel was clean and the room reasonably spacious (triple room). If travelling into KL on the train, the best direction to give the taxi driver is Puduraya bus station or the Maybank tower (opposite) to avoid getting ripped off. The hotel is a short walk from a local train terminal as well (on the Batu caves line), so taxi's are not essential. If walking to the Petronas towers, it is worth a trip through the remaining section of KL rain forest. It brings you out next to the KL tower and that is not far from the twin towers. Some restaurants in China town were immensely over priced and the food quality was not high. Excellent food is available in the shopping mall next to the Petronas towers - Ipoh Noodles recommended! The local trains have a terminal in the basement of the shopping mall.

Disliked: This part of town was not the cleanest and it is difficult to get across the roads due to the manic traffic. Trips offered in the lobby were expensive. DIY for some of them via trains or local buses is recommended.

Liked: It was spacious, clean, the staff were helpful and friendly, it had free wifi in the room, and it was in a good location. Compared to Stayorangehotel - where I stayed for one night because it was so bad - it was a really great suprise.

Liked: Mayview Glory Hotel is centrally located close to China Town, Central Markets, Times Square and the KL Tower. It is an ideal location for anyone wanting to explore and shop in KL. The rooms are very clean and comfortable and there is free WIfI available.

Disliked: The breakfast on offer is very limited, toast and cereal and there is a coffee machine. The rooms at the rear of the hotel are a little noisy due to the KL traffic.

Liked: very friendly staff, great room, safe and secure, central location, free wi fi

Disliked: this is not the hotel's fault but we booked this hotel as it was close to the main bus station but unfortunately the bus station is closed for refurbishment for several months.

Liked: the staff are very accomodating and helpful, the room is clean and freshly made everyday, there is free hot and cold potable water, the entrance of the hotel is not as busy as other hotels nearby, well situated like near train station, near chinatown, near night market, near food shops, very good value for money

Disliked: they do not provide complete toilettries, only soap was provided no shampoo nor toothbrush, advise: bring your own or buy in the nearby 7-11 stores

Liked: The people managing the hotel (housekeeping, maintenance, receptionist) are nice and soft spoken.

Disliked: 1. The water coming out of the faucet was yellow. My mother planned to change to other hotel but due to time constraint, we're not able to transfer. 2. The street going to the front of the hotel is dirty 3. The bedsheets and pillowcases used are not white. It looks like it has already been used or the person doing the laundry does wash the sheets very well.

Liked: very good location; friendly staff

Disliked: NOT clean at all; the towels had grey and BROWN stains on them, and the sheets had yellow-ish spots. After we complained, they changed everything, but the new towels still had grey spots (as if they were 100 years old ...)
