Liked: Best staff i have ever see. They are very friendly, helpful and very kind! The rooms of the Wau Hotel are very clean, spacious with plasma tv and a amazing power shower:-) I enjoyed every minute in this hotel. for this cheap roomrates it is the best performance in Malaysia. In short: great location, great accommodation, quality service and excellent value for money. Keep it up!

Liked: it was a great place, the staff were extremely helpful, fixing our internet, arranging transport, lending their phone. In fact we liked it so much we went back there for a nice clean powerful shower!

Disliked: It was a little out of town but it made a nice walk in the evening

Liked: Wau Hotel is an oasis of calm. It's absolutely fabulous and the people are so kind and helpful. Steve picked us up from the bus station to tke us to the hotel and was prepared to drive us to any destination we wanted. He gave us all the advice that we needed for our trip to the Taman Negara (and more). All the staff are wonderful people. We will definitely recommend this hotel.

Liked: the manager and his staff are very friendly ,as a result we enjoyed our stay so much that we stayed 3 nights instead of 1! thanks again to Mr WAU, who helped us around to find places to eat local food, and to organize our trip to Taman Negara he has in stock more information booklets than the Tourism official centres we went to in Taman Negara, Kuala Tahan and even Kota Bahru PS:what a nightmare it was, after staying at his hotel!we had a very large and clean ensuite room, with double king size beds, up to the best Singapore or western standards

Liked: We only stayed one night at Wau Hostel but we enjoyed a nice and pleasant stay. the staff was very friendly and helpful. they even drove us to downtown to have dinner. Then, they also gave us a lift to the bus stop in the morning. 100% recommendable!

Liked: Steve Woo is a star - great impartial advice on Taman Negara,free lifts into town, free pick up from the bus station, and all round nice guy! Rest of the staff were great too. Thanks! The place is clean and tidy, nicely decked out etc - could be a little nearer the centre but Steve gave us a lift, and its only 5 ringits in a taxi anyhow.
