Liked: Location was good.

Disliked: Booked a twin room, but there none available when we arrived. Bathroom was below standard, toilet seat should be replaced.

Liked: The breakfast we got free with our room was great, a huge plate of scrambled eggs and toast. we may of had to got across the road for it but well worth it. Free Wifi was a bonus to.

Disliked: A bit well worn but all in all fine for a one night stop over.

Liked: the airco worked / location is fine, close to train and busstation

Disliked: - The room was very small, - The shower had just been used, - Leaking waterpipes, - Dirty rundown furniture, - No glasses and towels (alltough we had to pay for them if we took 'em), - Everything was dirty (really everything, floors, ceilings, walls, furniture, shower, toilet, everything!) - Sattelite TV is 2 channels with static. - Staff was very unfriendly, they made jokes about us in our preasence and they wouldn't give us directions, Just the worst unfriendly hotel we have ever been in. And believe me, we didn't expect much.

Liked: The room we stayed in included a proper bed, bathroom with hot water and television. Further the price included breakfast. A hole lot for the very low price we paid, especially compared to other accommodations in Malaysia. Within the accomodation we received all information to visit taman negara and for a relatively small payment we were brought to the jetty.

Liked: The Hotel is close to all the eating places and night market.This hotel is part of the NKS travel group.They were excellent in arranging the bus/boat into Tamin Negara and accommodation in the park.I would recommend them if you want a hassle free trip into and out of Tamin Negara. They can arrange travel from KL to Tamin Negara then onto Tiaman island.

Liked: The price, thank goodness it wasn`t expensive!

Disliked: Almost everything, the only thing that was OK was the mattress, otherwise it was really very dirty, stains on the bedclothes, filthy and soaking wet bathroom.

Liked: This place is a good stop before entering the Taman Negara national park. But not for more than one night. The staff was really not helpfull at all.

Liked: This place is a good enough stopover for Taman Negara and pick up from the station makes it easy. You can also book transfers, permits, accomodation and tours through them, which is why I chose this place although I'd recommend booking the latter 2 on arrival. It's pretty basic and not the cleanest (splashing out on air con and ensuite is worth it here) and the internet isn't reliable but people on the desk are helpful and friendly and it's a decent roof over your head before you head onto the fantastic national park - just don't expect too much luxury!

Liked: Nice hotel for backpackers. Provides many tours for the Taman Negara and elsewhere: the hotel is also a travel agency. Provides the use of facilities for customers who wait for their trains: eg: we came back from Taman Negara by the boat provided by the agency, but didn't book any room to wait for our train at 1 am, and we were able to use the luggage store, the showers, and the other facilities.

Liked: It was a real hotel for the price of a hostel. A good restingplace for the journey between KL and Tamah Negara. They didn't get my booking from this site though, so my deposit was a waste of money.

Liked: Staff was very friendly and helpfully. We could choose between 3 rooms. Duting our tour we could store our baggage in the baggages storage.

Liked: Sri Emas is centrally located in Jerantut. They have friendly staff who come and pick you up from the train/bus station for free. The hotel is part of a travel group who can sort out transportation to the national park (reliable!), as well as accommodation, tours etc. The rooms were pretty average, but fine as it was just a quick stop to get to the national park from.
