Liked: The very friendly staff, always tried to help, even with the language problem. Tips for a pleasant stay: hot water is available for 6.00 am- noon and from 6.00 pm till midnight. Would you like to get your room cleaned, hand in the key and they will clean it. If you're having trouble with the language, wait from Hamed, he speaks real good english, he can also arrange for some tours.

Disliked: It took my some time to figure out that if you would like your room cleaned, you leave your key at the desk. And the smoking, but it was not specific for the hostel. Smoke in bars in the netherlands is worse that it was here

Liked: We stayed at the New Park Hotel on our arrival in Amman, then again when we were leaving for home. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcome with such friendly staff - especially Ra'ed and Hamed. Nothing was too much trouble for them and all the staff here. We were even welcomed back when we returned. The hotel was very safe and the location perfect. It was just a short walk to the city centre, which was a benefit for us with a car as parking would have been a problem with many hotels along the main roadand no parkinng facilities. Here the car was safe with CCTV 24/7. It was also opposite the Citadel and near the Roman Forum. Ra'ed and Hamed made our stay so very special - "shukran".

Liked: Nice location, helpful staff, very good value for the money.

Disliked: An old and tired property. New carpers in the rooms would help. A strange and inadequate breakfast.
