Liked: Great hostel for the price! The location wasn't as great as I had hoped but it was still very convenient, next to a major station which was good. The facilities were very nice and clean. There are showers in every room and they provided towels and shampoo for free! The beds were surprisingly comfortable. The breakfast was nothing special. We ended up going to a nearby restaurant, called Jonathan's, across from the OIOI department store which had some American style breakfast options. Overall I would recommend this place to stay because it has access to many lines and you can basically go anywhere from there.

Disliked: Breakfast was just toast and soup but when traveling I would rather eat out than at the hotel so it was no big deal. Thats all I could complain about cause everything was as expect for a hostel.

Liked: It was really close to Ikebukuro station, which is one of the biggest stations in Tokyo so you could get around comfortably. Air condition in room was cool, since it was really hot outside. Value for money was pretty good for Tokyo.

Disliked: I stayed in dorm which was kinda cramped but it wasn't bad really to be honest. And for that price in Tokyo in this near everything you can't expect that much more really.

Liked: The location was very good and close to Ikebukuro station. I had a single room in the annex building which was a decent size.

Disliked: The shower in my room wasn't powerful and the water was either hot or cold and it was very hard to get a good temperature.

Liked: Very clean, good location, a kitchen very usefull. It's a big hostel, just don't expect a friendly and charming place.

Liked: I loved the location and the hotel bar/cafe, great environment.

Liked: Very close to Ikebukuro station o/ Really clean and neat for the price o/ Really nice atmosphere around the terrace and the bar !

Disliked: The quilt cover was incredibly ugly. That's all :)

Liked: Location is really good if you want to meet the busy soul of Tokyo (Shinjuku - 10min. Shibuya - 15min. on the JR Line). Rooms are equipped with Internet Lan Cable, Tv, and AC. Coin Washmashine and dryer next to Reception. 24h Coffe & Restaurant across the street. Really good value for the money!

Liked: The room was a decent size. I was pretty please especially since I was in Hong Kong prior and the rooms there were super small. It was super clean and the staff did an excellent job of making sure my room was cleaned everyday.

Disliked: It was great!

Liked: Very nice and helpful staff. 5 minute walk to Yamanote JR station. Cheap laundry service. Nice bathrooms and hot showers. Clean. Grocery store and 99 Yen store just around the corner. Had to change rooms a few times but I didn't mind as we got a free upgrade to a private room. Dorm rooms are cramped but that's just Tokyo for ya'.

Liked: Location is excellent. Only a few minutes walk from Ikebukuro station which is on the Yamonote line and various subway lines. Plenty of places to eat and shop in Ikebukuro too if you are not feeling like venturing far. Stayed in basic double - note that the size of these double beds are smaller than Western sizes so if you are big you may want to consider a twin. Otherwise rooms are basic but clean. Recommended if you are on a budget and dont want to stay in the traditional Asakusa/Akasaka budget area.

Liked: I was realky happy with the location. It's close to everything. However no tv in thr common room, which has the effect of actually making it a lot harder to meet people. Aldo they don't have personal lockers, so when you go out you have to bring All your valuables with you :(
