This family-owned Japanese-style accommodation dates from 1904. Ignore its boxy exterior. Inside, you'll find spacious rooms, a modern rotemburo, traditional artwork plus a good Satsuma-riyori restaurant.

We are centrally located in Kagoshima-city. You can easily access to lots of interesting spots such as Tenmonkan and city cnetral.

Here you can taste lovely traditional Satsuma food in our restaurant and will experience real Japanese style of the way of life.

Our facilities include a conference room, cafe, banquet hall, wedding hall, large public bath, Japanese outdoor bath, laundry service and access to a fax machine.

Accommodation Information

We provide clean, comfortable accommodation and rooms. All rooms come equipped with satellite TV, telephone, hair dryer, fridge, individual temperature control, air-conditiong, toilet, shower and complimentary toiletry pack including toothbrush, soap and shower gel.

Bath towels, slippers, and Japanese style bathrobes are also provided while a trouser press, desk lamp and iron are available on request.

We also offer a room and massage service as well as a wake-up call facility.

Location Information

Sprawled around the Sakurajima Volcano, the birthplace of the Meiji Restoration, Kagoshima is home to many of Japan's historical heroes. The remnants of samurai strongholds (Bukeyashiki), which are still lived in today, lie scattered throughout the mountains and are well worth visiting when staying with us.
