Liked: Quiet and clean. Helpful English speaking staff. Good onsen. Good view of Lake Toya. Availability of coin laundry facility.

Liked: Great location considering you pay only 30%less compare with those in downtown area ( its location is just 7mins from downtown though). Considering the facility, space and cleanliness it offers, this is one of the best value for money hotel for budget traveller.

Disliked: Hot spring bath (on sen) is a little bit disappointing considering the town hotel is located is one of the famous on-sen town in Hokkaido. The view is kinda close and the cleanliness of the on sen is not that good.

Liked: Location, really friendly staff, hot pool (Onsen), courtesy service (paid) to return to Toya Station.

Liked: The owner himself is very very friendly and helpful. He offered to drive us out to the museum when there were limited buses going that way. Also, when we asked for the timings of the buses for our return trip to the train station, he helped to check out the timings, and also drew a map out for us to indicate clearly where we should be waiting for our bus!Also, the room was very nice - spacious with a nice area to drink tea. There was also a room to play table tennis!

Liked: the rooms are huge and nice. with view of the lake Toya. there is a firework every night and can be seen from the room. the Rotenburo is open 24/24 and is good. the staff is really good and helpfull, they will help you on anything.

Liked: This hotel was the best place I have ever stayed in - spotless, amazing spa and the staff were so friendly. The room had an amazing view over the lake and the room was more than big enough. I would recommend this to anyone and the price is the best value for money ever....

Liked: Very good value for money. The rooms are spacious, the onsens are large and clean, it's right by the lake and the property has a nice homely feel about it unlike the flavorless modern hotels. A leisurely walk to Toya town takes 15 min, you can get snacks and drinks from the convenience store right beside the hotel.

Liked: If you have time check this hostel out. Toya is beautiful and its soo good value for money. The receptionist was nice enough to show me around the town for 2 days and the boss let m use his laptop for the net, Great place. Just a little bit hard to find. the directions are not perfect.

Liked: Has an onsen with rotemburo that is free for guests. The staff is very friendly and are willing to pick you up from the bus station in case of bad weather.

Liked: The staff went out of their way to help me with travel plans and were very friendly. My room overlooked the lake and was very spacious and clean. A great hotel, I would highly recommend this place.

Liked: I liked everything about this hotel. It is right next to Lake Toya and the scenery is absolutely amazing, the staff is very helpful (one member of the staff even drove me to the Toya train station so that I would not have to ride the bus), and there is a convenience store right next to the hostel.

Liked: Really nice hotel. Nice onsen. Be prepared to walk a lot, or to rent a car if you plan to visit, as public transportation is not practical.
