Liked: Everything, the staff was friendly and helpful, the room was clean and warm and the breakfast was delicious!

Disliked: It is a little bit expensive.

Liked: This place is a gem in terms of value. It is a five star facility at budget prices. I have stayed in hostels in more than 35 countries and this one rates right at the top. It is done in simple Japanese style with a Japanese bath to sooth those travel aches and pains. The breakfast was awesome and inexpensive. There is tea and coffee 24 hours a day. It is within walking distance of the train station and near the warehouse district where there are a lot of shops and places to eat. I cannot say enough about this place.

Liked: The hostess is a very nice lady, who bakes bread at night for breakfast the next morning ") It goes without saying that Hakodatemura serves very good breakfast. The hostel is very nicely maintained, and the location is great for sight-seeing in Hakodate. With such warm hospitality, my 3D 2N stay in Hakodate was hence made very pleasant and heart-warming right from the beginning.
