Disliked: The stuff was very rude and part of it does not know English. Very small rooms, far from the center.

Liked: i think i've booked the hostel but when i reached there,,it is a 3-star hotel.. the room is nice with television n lots of facilities..

Disliked: it is quite far from venice lucia n shuttle bus is too expensive but we dont have another choice...not suitable for bagpackers..internet is not free n we have to pay for it..

Liked: This was a much cheaper option than staying in central Venice, which was quite easy to reach once you got your bearings. The rooms were attractive and we had a door than opened onto the central terrace.

Disliked: The staff were not particularly friendly or helpful and the information provided for reaching the hostel was very poor. We were told to catch bus 25 from outside Venice Mestre and after looking in vain for a bus stop for no.25 we asked a bus driver who told us the no.25 no longer existed. We had to walk round the corner and find another bus stop for the no.10. Then when we came to leave we went out to catch the bus back to Mestre and after about 45 minutes and no sign of the bus we went back into the hotel to ask if they knew anything and they said the buses weren't running. We thought they could have told us when we walked out initially. We then had to pay 16 euros to use the hotels shuttle service.

Liked: Generally good.

Disliked: It could have breakfast for the price we paid. A little far from Venezia but there are buses so that's ok.

Liked: The rooms were clean and a good size and it is a lot cheaper than the hostels and hotels in Venice.

Disliked: The staff were not particularly welcoming or friendly and we didint feel that they were interested in answering our questions or helping us with any queries we had. The service they gave was not even close to being as good as the service we have received in other, cheaper hostels. I'm not sure if its because they didnt speak much English (obviously not their faults) but they just seemed quite rude. In terms of the actual room, over two days we had to sit through about 20 power cuts, which in a room with no windows isn't great. We were also under the impression that the shuttle service that they offered to Venice would be free, so just be aware of the costs on top of the standard room rate and maybe consider going to a slightly more expensive hostel in Venice central.

Liked: The town it was in was nice

Disliked: It was about a half hour bus ride away from Venice, but the bus was much cheaper than the hotel had told us (1.30 euros instead of 2.50). The directions to get there were entirely wrong, with the bus route we were told to take having been stopped. Also, the bathroom door did not shut.

Liked: spaceous room. At least one bus after every half an hour is good for travel at any time in day.

Disliked: Room was without windows, so no day light makes the room very dull. So many tables, make the room conjusted. very far away from main city.

Liked: Nothing.

Disliked: Very ignorant people with no sense of quality of service. Grunted every time we asked them a question before giving us a half-assed answer. Far too far out of the way with a half hour bus journey into Venice and a 15 min journey to Mestre. Apart from the room beeing half decent it is a horrible place to stay. Really bad, sour atmosphere.

Liked: It had a nice bathroom

Disliked: It was miles away from anywhere. We booked seats on the minibus to go to and from Venice but when we were picked up in the evening they had overfilled the bus and we ended up sitting on the floor despite having paid for a seat. Also, our room was nothing like the brochures and the facilities were poor.

Liked: Very clean, spacious, secure room, free A/C and attractive decor - loved the lamp in our room!

Disliked: Whilst it was a 30 min bus ride from the centre of Venice - the buses were very regular. The optional breakfast was not worth EUR5 but there is a good bakery around the corner. Be aware the No. 10 bus listed on the directions no longer exists (sorry can't remember the bus from the station!)

Disliked: horribly soft bed, stinky bathroom, loud ventilator, decor is meant to attract visitors but when you actually see it makes the place look cheap
