Liked: Location. Cleanliness of the room. The shower was extremely powerful which was brilliant. Staff who didn't work on the desk were extremely nice and helpful, the ones at the desk a little reserved and one man was particularly rude when checking in. In a quiet street so quiet at night.

Disliked: We were in a room right next to a shared bathroom so early in the morning (6am/7am) I sometimes heard people getting showers which woke me up. Breakfast was a little hectic as on one morning there was one girl working trying to make everyone's hot drinks, sitting them down at tables and so me and my friend didn't order as she seemed very stressed. If you go for breakfast at around 9am-9:30, there wasn't much choice left and some people ended up standing for breakfast / leaving as there were no more tables or chairs.

Liked: Great location and really secure. Really great for the price

Disliked: Toilet was dripping... Onto the toilet paper, very annoying. Hair dryer wasn't very good and wifi didn't work even after we had paid for it. One male staff member was very helpful and friendly, however the other two were rude, unhelpful and couldn't speak a word of English.

Liked: Perfect location! Literally only 30 seconds walk from the train station and from the waterbus stop which takes you all around the city. Super easy to find and very clean, comfortable beds, safe and nice staff.

Disliked: Nothing.

Disliked: Internet is not free... And if you need to use it, you have to pay 5 euro for one hour... So high considering the price of the internet nowadays...

Liked: Good service an a nice (if cosy) room. The air-con definately worked!!! (we had to turn it off a couple of times) Fantastic location for a great stay at a great price.

Disliked: Vanessa left no negative feedback.

Liked: Excellent Location.. Rooms nice and clean. Breakfast is very nice and you can really eat as much as you can.

Disliked: Not much really. The aircon was not working but the rooms are quite cool, so no need aircon

Liked: Rooms were very well presented and clean. Also a great location close to the train station!

Disliked: When we first arrived our information said the hotel was at number 99b. The door with this number and the hotel name above it was locked so we were a bit confused but luckily a local pointed out that the door was a bit further back. Would help if the put the hotel name and never above the correct door!

Liked: Good location, clean

Disliked: We booked a room with private bathroom but had to stay in a room without bathroom for 2 nights. We were told it was because of a problem with our credit card and they sent us an email. But we did not receive it. Anyway shared bathrooms were clean and sufficient and we got a pretty good room for the third night

Liked: I stayed in Alloggi Agli Artisti Hotel in early Feb, so it's a low season and the price was cheap (50 euros/night for a double ensuite). This hotel is in perfect location, which is right next to the train terminal station and near to the bus terminal, ferry stations and supermarkets/a food court. The staff are very helpful - our room's electricity supply was out of order and they moved us to a bigger, nicer room without charging us extra and let us stayed there until we moved out. The breakfast was not fancy, but nice - hot croissants, coffees (of course!), pastries, cereal, juice, all-you-can-eat.

Disliked: The only things to comment are - there is no lift in this hotel so if you have giant, heavy luggages, try to ask for a room in lower floors. And the second is, there are some unpleasant smell around the area near the stairs (my husband thinks there are smell in the room too but I didn't sense that). The last thing is, if you leave your luggages there (after checking out) for the day, they don't have a secure place/storage and you are responsible for any loss.

Liked: Fantastic location, great value for money, helpful staff, clean and tidy, good breakfasts (freshly made coffee to order and a good selection of croissants, cereal etc.) Overall a brilliant stay.

Liked: The staff was very friendly. Was very pleased there was Air conditioning in my room. Breakfast was great.

Disliked: Hot water is turned off in the evening. i always shower in the evening, so for three nights we took cold showers, very invigorating. Actually cold showers felt good because it was extremely hot and humid that week in Venice.

Disliked: The luggage storage area isn't the most secure; it's just a room that any person staying there can go into.

Liked: The breakfast. It's excellent.

Disliked: There it says that they have wifi, but you have to pay 5€ an hour to use it, or 15€ a day. It is better simply going to the McDonalds, they have free wifi ;)

Disliked: I booked the hostel three days in advance. I booked a single room for three nights. When I got there, the staff told me that they haven't received my deposit so they canceled my room. I wasn't sure at that time cuz I was using an international credit card to pay and I thought there was something wrong with the transit. I did receive the confirmation email from Hostelbookers and I argued with them. They sent me to a individual apartment by the train station, and the condition was really poor, without internet and hot water. When I finally got internet, I checked my bank account. The hostel did charge me 18 dollars deposit. They resold my room and cheated me! Never try to book the room in Alloggi Agli Artisti Hostel. If the same thing happened, you may end up paying a deposit without getting anything. Plus you may have to running around the town with big suite cases just trying to find available rooms!

Liked: the hostels is very close to train station which was very useful. The directions provided by the hostel on the website were definitely handy. All the staff we met were friendly and helpful. The room was spacious and the bathrooms were clean and well maintained. The breakfast was included in price and was very good. Also, I was pleased that they stored our luggage for no additional fee on our last day in venice. It totally met and in some aspects exceeded my expectations. I would recommend this hostel to people who would like a clean easy place to stay for a reasonable price.

Disliked: We booked a room with private bathrooms and we received a shared bathroom accomodation. However, we ended up with a larger room for a reduced price and had no problems sharing the bathrooms with other guests so everything worked out fine.

Liked: Well one of the receptionist was kind.

Disliked: At night, there was people screaming and fighting I could not sleep. I could not pay with credit card and they did not offer to much options to solve the problem.
