Liked: Great atmosphere, very helpful staff, wonderful location.

Disliked: Walls were thin and there was mold on the bathroom wall.

Liked: great location - very close to train station. Lovely views from the terrace on the1st floor. friendly staff.

Disliked: my only comment would be that the wifi was so slow it was almost not usable. not a big deal - the hotel was still good value - just good for guests to be aware of in case they need urgent internet access.

Liked: Location is excellent, helpful staff, breakfast is nice, clean.

Disliked: Internet and Wi-Fi is incredibly expensive, and not only that, but if you want to use it they want to photocopy your passport before they will let you use it, utterly bizarre compared to any other accommodation I have ever stayed in.

Liked: The Astoria is one of the best 3 star hotels I have stayed in. The rooms are very pleasantly furnished. The breakfast includes bacon and eggs. The staff are most pleasant and welcoming. It is truly a lovely hotel.

Liked: Our room had a wonderful view of the bay and it was literally a 2 minute walk from the train station. We were recommended City Pizza for dinner and were not disappointed. They also had a great breakfast.

Liked: The helpfulness of the elder staff members was very warming. Also, the breakfast is very tastful and varied for a 30-a-night hotel. And of course the Vesuvius and Gulf of Naples view from the roof terrace is incredible and very attractive for a cousy late night chat!
