Liked: Friendly and helpfull owners, clean rooms, cheap but lovely breakfast, with friendly service and you can eat more than you want!

Liked: Lovely owners, the cleanest place I've stayed in Europe so far. Immaculatley cleaned was refreshing after filthy hostels. Stayed in the annexe house down the road it was traditional, cool, quiet and simple I loved it. Right near all the shopping and restaurants. Beautiful little town.

Liked: It's clean and close to the main road of Sta Margherita.

Disliked: The staff is a weird family. They are the owners of the property and they are very unpolite. I wouldn't recommend to a friend. Terrible. Unless you want to get stressed during your vacations, do not stay there...

Liked: it is convenient for most of the town of SM - only about fifteen minutes walk to the yacht club if you are involved in a regatta. quiet during nights and automatic alarm clock at around 6:30 as everyone gets up to go to work by scooter. Lovely owners and very attractive lodgings.

Liked: Staff were so friendly and helpful. We stayed in the Annexe Building which is about 50 metres away from main Hotel but it was still great. Rooms were nice and really clean. Very central to main resturants and beach. Only a 10min easy walk from the train station. Was great for two girls backpacking. Highly recommend this place for basic accommodation.

Liked: It was a really nice and secure place to stay and a close bus ride to Portofino. There was a leak in the wall from the shower and ants when we woke up. Nice a clean besides that.

Liked: We were staying in the annex of the hotel a few minutes walk down the street from the other part of the hotel. The room was on the 3rd floor so a bit of a mission carrying suitcases up the stairs. The room was very clean and they came in every morning to clean. Nice bathroom. The only bad things I would have to say would be the directions to get from the train station to the hotel, where very vague so it took us a while of following signs around in circles to find it. Also they had many rules for the hotel room like no washing clothes and no eating in the room. We thought these rules were a bit much. But other than that, we had a nice stay and it was in a good location.

Liked: It is the cheapest we found so close to Portofino. It was clean and quite close to the city center (5 min walk). We had our own private terrasse, great for breakfast. The city and specially Portofino are quite expensive, therefore this hostel is a good option to visit this area.

Liked: We stayed in the annex room, Great location to shops, cafes and just a short walk to the gorgeous views. The family was very helpful and informative, Had to change plans to make it by the 5:00pm cut off for check-in, but it was worth it.

Liked: The staff esp. at the reception are warm. The location is serene. Facilities in the room are good. Clean and value for money. The only small disadvantage is that there is no lift and we were at staying at the 3rd floor. Difficult if one travel with heavy luggages but staff is there to help to carry luggages. So, it is still ok..Of all the 15 places we stayed when we were in Europe, we rank this the highest, the best. Near enough to Portifino as well as CinqueTerra ie. by boat and train respectively.
