Liked: It was better than advertised which is surprising,,,,,,the counter staff very keen to please......Peace of mind with the 24 hour reception if we needed help.

Disliked: The breakfast for 5 Euros extra was okay but all starchy like cereals, bread and of course tea and coffee. The help yourself bench was stuck in a corner with people leaning over each other....it should have been a long thin bench for easy access. Also I would have paid extra for eggs etc but they said not available. THE WORST PART OF THEIR SERVICE WAS THAT THEY SAID THEY COULD GET US A TAXI TO THE AIRPORT FOR 50 euros AND THAT WAS OKAYED BY US FOR THE CONVENIENCE.......HOWEVER THE AGGRESSIVE DRIVER CHARGED US 60 EUROS AND WHEN I TOLD HIM OF OUR QUOTE HE DENIED IT AND PUT ON A SHOW TO EMBARRASS US TILL WE PAID......He made it obvious that he had paid the hotel a commission before taking us as he barged past us to see them even though we were waiting outside. Commissions ar okay perhaps but that should have been included in the quote...The taxi had no holdups and other travellers told us that even 50 euros is excessive

Liked: Perfect location (just along the road from Termini station), brilliant shower, very clean. Didn't have much interaction with staff as we only saw them to pick up or drop our key off but were friendly enough and helpful. The A/C & heating was included in price (useful for summer). Would stay here again.

Disliked: There's nothing I can say that I disliked about this property. It was perfect for our means which was: Somewhere to rest at night and shower. We were on a city break and so were only in the room to sleep. Nothing fancy, but totally met our requirements.

Liked: The staff was extremely friendly and provided us with a map of Rome and recommended places for what to do and where to eat. It's extremely close to Termini Station and all the major sites, the Colisseum is about a 15 minute walk away, but you also have public transport readily available if you prefer.

Disliked: The location was great, but at the same time Termini Station area is a bit dodgy at night so just be alert. I wouldn't let this hinder you choosing the hotel to spend the night because it really is a good hotel.

Liked: The location was great, especially for us, as we arrived by train and left by train two days later. The train station is even closer than it appears on google maps, because you can exit out the side only about two blocks from this hotel. For those who want to, the Colosseum could have been possible to walk to, but it was easy to take the metro there as well, because the two metro lines meet at the train station. The room was clean and spacious, but it felt a little old. It smelled like smoke when we arrived, so we had to open the windows for a few hours. The walls were also stained as if people had smoked inside for a while. Either way, I wouldn't mind staying there again if I couldn't find something better.

Liked: Large and beautiful rooms. The bathroom was cleand and refilled every day. Very close to both metrolines in Rome. The staff was really happy to help with everything, they gave uss directions to the beach, resturants, attractions etc.

Liked: Rooms were great, hotel facilities were of a much higher quality than any of the other hostels we stayed in on our Eurotrip. Staff unbelievable helpful and friendly.

Disliked: The breakfast was rubbish. Cheese out of a tin and stale bread. Building work next door woke us up at 7 o'clock in the morning.

Liked: Would strongly recommend all to NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL. This place left a bad taste for my entire trip to Italy. Despite informing in advance about the number of people arriving, the staff/owner acted very rudely when we reached stating that he will not be able to arrange the breakfast for the 2 kids we have with us. As if they will finish off the entire breakfast on offer. The breakfast was also pathetic. A croissant which tasted stale, juice was bad too and two types of cornflakes. We did not had breakfast there again after the 1st day!. He was also very unhelpful in providing us with some guide to Rome. Whatever we asked he responded stating he doesn't know. The location is also very shady, the entire area was full of drug peddlers, beggars and Hookers at night!

Liked: very nice rooms, very clean, very friendly & helpful english speaking staff; very nice breakfast included in the room price; free maps and travel advices....primery location very close to main train station (termini). public transportation available to any where in italy...local buses/ tube train/ main line trains/ shuttle services to various airports...taxi..etc etc......various choice of food nearby.....even indian restaurants available with in short walking distance....highly recomended to all tourists....
