Liked: Good hotel in a great location. Although our bedroom was pretty basic, the main public rooms of the hotel were interesting and a bit plush - and the terrace on the roof was a terrific bonus. The staff were really pleasant and helpful too, especially the young male receptionist.

Disliked: Nothing to dislike really.

Liked: Very nice hotel in the middle of Pisa. Nice old building. Very nice breakfast!

Disliked: You could open the room even when it was locked.

Liked: The price was incredibly cheap considering the great location, spacious room, friendly staff and character of the hotel. I would highly recommend this hotel for its incredible value.

Liked: This hotel is a wonderfully old fashioned and charming place, great value for money and in a brilliant location. Unfortunately the only shared shower is on the 4th floor which was a minor downside as we were on the 2nd. However, the service and the included breakfast were brilliant. This is a hotel though not a hostel so brilliant for couples but not necessarily for backpacking groups.

Liked: Lots of character and history made for an interesting stay. Very clean and pleasent. However room was quite stuffy even though it was not that warm outside. Also, where our room was there was a lot of noise from outide throughout the night.

Liked: Royal Victoria Hotel in Pisa is a very special experience. It is fantastic to walk the broad stairs and all the rooms are individually decorated. Especially the tiles on the floor are very beautifull. We can recommend the roof terrace for a before dinner drink. We just loved it!!

Liked: If you want Holiday Inn style modern plastic, this isnt for you. Wonderfully eccentric / a real gem. Take a look at the safe behind the check in. Looking forward to a return visit sometime.

Liked: While the room was only average, the hotel itself was a treasure trove full of antiques and paintings. There was even an art exhibition going on in one of the rooms on the first floor. So be sure to walk around the hotel to explore its common rooms. Staff were friendly and helpful too.

Liked: The hotel was fantastic It is more like a museum and art gallery very good central position, you could spend days exploring the hotel alone. Would definitely go back to it.

Liked: I liked the old feel of the hotel, the hotel was practically a museum with beautiful busts, beautifully painted ceilings, marble floors. I also liked the rooftop terrace. The staff was really friendly and helpful and served you with a smile.

Liked: This hotel has understated granduer and transports you back to a 1930s feel. We booked a "best room" which was large with lovely views of the river.Every member of staff we dealt with were polite and very helpful. The hotel is within walking distance of the leaning tower and the train station. We had a wonderful weekend in Italy and would recommend this hotel without hesitation.

Liked: Very pretty hotel with lots of antiques and character. Felt like i was staying somewhere quite classy. Excellent breakfast. Only negative was that because it was a hotel set-up you can't really meet anyone, but very nice for a one-night stay in Pisa.

Liked: It was a very cool old hotel, with heaps of old reading rooms, ballrooms, and all sorts. The breakfast was really good and it overlooked the river. All in all a very nice stay.

Liked: brilliant it is a hotel and great value.huge buffet breakfast with the best of food.great rooms and netting on windows to keep the mosquitoes out.they are a problem in Italy.spacious, airy ,great big staircases.would go back there anytime.

Liked: all the staff where very helpful.explaned where resturants were and booked them us.although our airconditioning was not working for the whole 3 nights we where there, they did offer afan on the last night which we did accept, but would have been nice to have offered us a discount on the price (which i will add was over priced for the room we had.)

Liked: The hotel itself is like a museum, it looks lovely. The rooms are not that spectacular, but very clean, also the bathrooms. Definitely one of the best hostels we've been to.
