Liked: It has some charm but all the charming rooms were there for you to find but not pointed out. Like a writing room. Although there was a nice terrace but you had to order from the reception

Liked: We liked the atmosphere there. the service was good and very helpfull, from all the people that servised us. We liked very much that the place was so old with big rooms. And we liked to go at the roof to have a capuchino, a good place to rest.

Liked: Wonderful old building with lots of character,and an excellent breakfast. Probably not a good choice for young backpacers-rather quiet and sedate when we were there- perfect for us! We did upgrade our room as the hostelbookers rooms are quite basic and not en-suite.

Liked: This was a charming and historic hotel,full of spectacular lounges and salons and furniture.The staff were kind, helpful and sociable. We would go there again anytime. The bedroom only had a hand baisin and bidet, but the showers were close by. Please bear in mind that our daughter booked this for us, and we are both 70+yrs. and didn`t go for fun and partying !! It was central for the City and plenty of restaurants.Of all the places we stayed during our 2 weeks holiday in Pisa, Florence and Rome this was the one we rated the highest.

Liked: This was a hotel.....not a hostel. The price for the stay was very good. The dont want the money up front, they wait until you are ready to check out. Its more of a museum then a hotel. I didn't mind, I loved it. The staff either understood & spoke a little english, or were fluent. They were very helpful showing us how to get around the area and were even selling the bus tickets in the hotel so you wouldnt have to worry about buying the wrong ticket on the bus. Not a place to party though, this hotel cators less to students and party-goers than others. Well done, I want to go back. Thanks!

Liked: Fantastic for New year the music and fireworks were next to the hotel. However we were only there for one night but we were made to feel most welcome,.The building is steeped in History and it is fascinating to walk round.The breakfast was varied and offered plenty of choice, excellent start to the day.

Liked: They facilitated a late arrival of our flight with out any problem and were so welcoming. Beautiful old building centrally located in PISA, beautiful furniture and excellent service and good breakfast. The hotel was also very very clean.
