Hotel Corallo is a small family-run hotel, located on the northeast coast of Sardinia,near the old fortress town of Pousada, just south of Olbia.

Location Information

Posada is a beautiful medieval area in Sardinia. The focal point is a medieval fort which sits on a hill surrounded by walls and little houses. The old bastion was built by the Giudici di Gallura in the XIII century.

Posada is an interesting tourist area for its archaeological sites, nature reserves and its long stretch of white beaches - 6km in total.

Further inland the Posada River passes though beautiful area, where is possible to see pink Flamingos. It is easy to organize a trip to visit the medieval Fava Castle or horse riding along the coast. and children. In the summer season, the nearby port has any kind of boat available for hire.

• Olbia Airport (34.09 km) - (OLB) Airport of Olbia, Sassari.

• San Simplicio Church (39.73 km) - The attractive Church of San Simplicio in Olbia is the main medieval monument in the town and also houses some Roman relics. During mid-May, it is the location for Olbia's biggest festival which includes traditional singing and dancing and culminates in a firework display.

• Giants' Tomb, Li Longhi (57.35 km) - Just outside Arzachena is a huge funerary monument and burial ground erected by the Nuraghi people, the ancient inhabitants of Sardinia. The monument is comprised of a ring of huge stones that meet in a huge stone, which is the entrance to the burial chamber.

The initial phase of construction of the tomb dates back to 1800 BC in the early Bronze Age, with additions being made in 1200 BC.
