Liked: The staff was speaking english.

Disliked: The shower doesn't work properly and the bed are really not comfortable. Also, when I was staying there, I assisted to a very unlikely situation : two person that didn't knew each other were asked to sleep in the same bed because the hotel was full. I was pretty happy that I was not involve in this situation, but I still think it is worth knowing it can happen.

Liked: It was cheap. The staff was kind of nice.

Disliked: It's not very clean. There were ANTS in the bathroom/shower. When you're in a dormitory, there's only one key, so the last person have to lock the room when leaving. No safe

Liked: Clean, friendly staff, easy to find. Perfect place to stay for one night.

Disliked: Not so much facilities. Showers are very old.

Liked: All in all it was not bad, roommates were very friendly) If you insist on what you are asking, the staff will make it (accepting cards especially). The advantage of this hotel is that there is a supermarket 2 blocks from it, it is rather close to the shopping street, rather clean and cheap. It is located in a calm part of Milan, so you can sleep quite well.

Disliked: They don't want to accept cards although they can. There is no kitchen

Liked: very clean. peaceful. i met other travelers. staff was friendly. free soap, towel, linens. i really liked it here, and would definitely recommend this hostel to you all. i was travelling alone with a heavy back pack, it was easy to find, very close to metro, which means you can get to anywhere in the city easily.

Disliked: nada

Liked: Its ok for the private room price.

Disliked: Not too close to the city, the bus doesn´t come very often. Three floors through stairs to go to our room.

Liked: car parking for 10 euro per day/night. 24 hour service. ok location. 5 minute walk to the metro. Cheap fast food like kebab, falafel, panini, McDonalds and the like in the neighborhood.

Disliked: The standard is very poor. No electrical outlet in the room and a TV without power. The lamp above the bed did not work. Dirty, cramped and rather unpleasant Hostel. Cracks and holes in the walls. Much is broken or not working. General unhygienic and only one shared toilet and shower for all the hotel guests

Liked: hotel Ambra is a nice place and it is very easily reachable from Central train station. It s just ten minutes walking from underground station. Linen and room was perfectly clean. It s not a hostel so dont expect a hostel atmosphere. However it s a great value for money. I plan to stop there once again.

Disliked: there was a small mistake in description how to get there. So dont get off on the second stop of Via Porpora but on the third. That was the only bad thing

Liked: Nothing to sat

Disliked: There are just 3 bathrooms for like a lot of people, and one it was a broken, other had no lights, os its better to take your shower at night. On the website its not really clear if you can have breakfast or not, because its written starting from 30 euros, but its 30 euros per night. The location its not very good also, and if there is a strike on the metro, its horrible. In Italy all hostels are expensive and dont have anything in special, so its better to pay a little more and stay in a better place.

Liked: the room was allright, not to big, not to small We could use the fridge

Disliked: - Common bathroom were extreme low budget: shower leaked water to the bathroom > room flooded! - the toilet seat was broken! - cold water in the shower - people at the reception are lame

Liked: Nice rooms. Very friendly and helpful staff!!!! Supermarket right around the corner. 3 min walk to the metro and the you were 7 stops to the duomo. Very happy staying there!

Disliked: Bathrooms were not always clean and did tend to flood. The cheap rooms had to pay for breakfast.
