Liked: Staff Main building rooms

Disliked: Map was black-and-white A4 copy of city center Hostel is 5 minutes walk from main building Hostel rooms are not preferable, hotel part is good. Internet was out of order.

Liked: Its a nice hotel to stay however I have heard negative things about the hostel section. It is the cheapest place to stay in Milan. It's half an hour to the centre. It was a pleasant stay

Disliked: They charge you for bed linen and towels per day but they don't change them for you unless you ask really nicely.

Liked: The staff, altough disorganised, are friendly and helpful. The beds also seem clean in the dorm I stayed and are also quite comfortable.

Disliked: For the price, this place just isnt value. I paid 45 Euro for one night in a 6 bed dorm. Not smooth. Considering that this place is a LONG way from central Milan, save the 20 Euros you will spend getting from Centrale to here and the 20 Euro back (via taxi) and you will find much better. You wont see much of Milan from here, and the forget the public transport; wait for a bus, then a tram, then walk for ages. Not what you really want to do in a fresh city. Terrible noise all night, with people coming in and out of the room, lights on, buzzers, argueing, loud snoring, in a run down part of town, far out, thin duvets so put on your woolies. DONT STAY AT THIS PLACE, YOU WILL SAVE MONEY BY STAYING CLOSER TO CENTRAL MILAN. NOT VALUE.

Liked: The staff were friendly (though I was a little confused by their organisation).

Disliked: The Hostel is actually split into 2 sections (one part is in another building across the road)- one is really quite nice ( the part that is described on hostelbookers.com), the other isn't - and that's where I stayed. It was clean, but looked like it was falling apart and there was no security in that part but the area was quiet so I had no concerns. The staff put me in a dorm on my own with one other male customer, which made me feel uncomfortable. I was a little put out when I met a girl who hadn't booked in advance and found out that she been put into a nice dorm of the same price in the main building and that there had been 2 spare beds in her room. So why was I put in the other block on my own with a man I didn't know instead of being put in there when I had booked in advance? It made no sense.

Liked: Only two young ladies at the reception were decent and kind.

Disliked: worst organization. They even told us the 10% prepayment we did on hostelbookers is not even a guarantee for them so that they didn't reserve our room and sent us out at 11.pm(because there was an important soccer game and they gave all the vacant rooms to the fans) without settling us down right away in other room or contacting other hotels.

Liked: Staff was very helpful but badly organized. We waited for preparing our room and beds till 11 pm!! Generally place for that money is ok.

Disliked: first of all YOU COULDN'T GET YOUR BREAKFAST FREE IF YOU PAY UNDER 15 EURO FOR A NIGHT!!! it was terrible, when we would like to eat something in the morning, and the girl said, that we had to pay for it... and.. the breakfast was NOTHING!:) we are Hungarian, and in general we eat SOMETHING for breakfast! we got a croissant, two slices of bred with nutella... the other interesting story!! YOU SHOULD SAY IN ADVANCE, THAT YOU WOULDN'T LIKE TO HAVE LINEN AND TOWEL anyway you HAVE TO PAY for it!!! WHAT A SHAME!! it was a despoilment!

Liked: As instalações eram boas. Acho que a relação custo-qualidade foi o melhor aspecto do hostel.

Disliked: Não gostei do facto de ter de pagar os lençóis e a toalha de banho à parte, uma vez que não sabia que para rejeitar, tais serviços, era preciso enviar um email avisar.

Disliked: There were not enough beds in the room, the man at the front desk was angry and yelling and was throwing things, people were forced to share beds, they charged for linens and towels because we made the reservation less than 24 hour in advance

Liked: der mann an der rezeption war ganz lustig und nett. auch wenn das frühstück nicht besonders groß, geschweige denn abwechslungsreich war, war doch eins vorhanden. die zimmer waren sauber und bettwäsche und handtücher wurdentäglich gewechselt!

Disliked: wir hatten weder eigenen schlüssel fürs zimmer noch ein schließfach oder ähnliches! außerdem sagte manuns bei der ankunft zu unserer überraschung dass wir pro person 2,40 euro pro nacht für handtücher und bettzeug zahlen müssen, obwohl wir dies nicht wunschten da wir selber welche dabei hatten - man hätte vorher eine mail schreiben müssen. das 6bettzimmer hat die größ eines doppelzimmers!

Disliked: We spent two nights in this hostel and saw two different rooms. In the first room the toilet was damaged and the water from the shower was in our room. In the middle of the night the owner of the Hotel stood in our room in argued with to other guests. The second night wasn't better. We slept in a room with six beds. One bed stood next to the other. There were only ten centimeter space between the beds. The beds were so old, that the springs come out of the mattress. We couldn't get no sleep the whole night. In the morning you get a very horrible breakfast. The breakfast consists two old Zwieback, one artificial taste Chocolate Croissant in a plastic bag and a very bad coffee. If you beg you get a juice ;) Another bad aspect were the extra costs. When we checked in the reception said to us that we have to pay for towels and lines 2,40€ PER NIGHT. We can't advice this hostel. We only can say : RUUUUUUUUUUUUN ;)
