Liked: A one-star hotel, perfect for those who are just looking for a place to sleep in. Our room and the bathroom were big and clean. The staff doesn't speak much English, but they're very friendly. A big dog was barking under our window and kept us awake one night, but other than that it was pretty quiet. Note that the hotel is closed from 1:30 am to 6:00 am, so you can't stay out too late. Only a few minute walk from the metro and 5-10 min. from the center of the town.There are some really cheap restaurants just around the corner!

Liked: What I liked:Close to train station. Close to restaurant.Close to grocery market.What I didn't like:It's in a hard to find location. The directions they provided were not very good. They didn't even have maps at the reception. They had a dog sitting at reception all day until about midnight that barked every time someone checked in. They represented themselves as taking credit cards, but when we checked in they said they only take cash. The entire reception area smelled of wet dog. Noise travels readily through the hotel, so you hear EVERYTHING. They speak very little English, so unless you're fluent in Italian or Mandarin, communication will be a bit difficult.

Liked: The place was clean and safe. The couple who run it were very friendly and helpful. They charge 5€/day for internet and most of the time it didn't even work in my room.

Liked: Cheap price, close to the metro, few good restaurants near by, very loud at night, doors and walls thin, guard-dog barking, you can hear everything from the reception area

Liked: I was totally satisfied after 3 nights at Hotel Adelchi. - Helpfull people (but don't speak english);- Good location:10 min. from the center (Duomo) and very near the Lambrate station (subway station);- Clean rooms and clean sheets every day (except Sundays);- Very clean toilletes, with towels, hot water and a good shower (in double private ensuite)- Safe rooms with TV and Air Conditioning included;- Low price but high price/quality relationship.
