Liked: Despite the age of the building, it is very clean and secure. The shared bathrooms need a desperate revamp but the staff were very friendly.

Liked: Great place to stay! We thought our room is for 3 females, but in reality weàve been staying in twin room. Very clean and tidy room, nice and fresh towels, soap, shampoo and good breakfast from 8 till 10.30am.Definately good value for money! Staff is very friendly and helpful. Free wifi!!!

Liked: The location was not bad - though we needed to carry our heavy luggage along the rocky streets which made the way there quite a hard one... Elevator was a great plus!

Disliked: Never rated the hotels before - everything was always good. But this place was TERRIBLE!!!! Maybe it was the room that we got.... The doors were made of glass.... Those it was coloured... But still, no intimacy. It would open itself just because of the windblow so we needed to put a chair at the door. Right at our door there was the men's bathroom (the common one) with skweeky door.... The toilet was broken and leeked the whole night through like a waterfall as if it was running in our room. On the other side of the room there was a breakfast room. Well, we needed to get up early for the plane... Otherwise.... There was TV on so it would be impossible to sleep. The breakfast!!!!!!! I do not eat much at breakfast. But the saying that you can only take one drink (either coffee or juice) and you can only take croissant or some other piece of food just freaked me out.... The room itself.... Well... ok to just fall asleep and run away in the morning though there was a table and a big wardrobe but no cosiness at all....

Liked: It was quite near to a main underground train station which was just two stops away from the Duomo and shops. We were pleasantly surprised that our beds were made every day and there was internet access and a breakfast of sorts.

Disliked: Randomly the light switch for your room is outside your door. so once you' are going to bed you have to go outside turn you light of, then lock your door and negotiate your way in the dark. It was really noisy at times, and I suppose it isn't the fault of the hostel that the people in the next room were noisy through the night but it wasn't the best. It was advertised on the website that in our room we would have an en - suite but we didn't and there was only one shower on the corridor.

Liked: If given a choice to choose again, I would not choose Hotel Panizza AGAIN!

Disliked: The toilet looked straight out of the set of "I KNOW WHAT YOU DID LAST SUMMER". We couldn't even go to toilet without feeling secure. The lightings in the room and toilets were very dim, hence added to the scary house effect. The shower place was blocked with lots of hair at the bottom. We couldn't even shower as the water level in the bathtub was rising. We tried using the other toilet and there was NO lights in the other toilet/shower room. We were scared so we didn't shower when we stayed there. Luckily we only stayed there for a night. We were leaving around 7.30am to catch our train. We did ask the reception if we can have some coffee before we leave as we saw there was a coffee machine at the breakfast room. The guy refused us curtly without offering any explanation.

Liked: It was a very well located hostel, the staff was very friendly and the rooms were ok. They got cleaned every day. The breakfast buffet was nice.

Disliked: Sometimes there was a lot of noise from other tourists who stayed in the hostel.

Liked: Nice beds

Disliked: Staff wanted to enter girls bed room in the evening. Did not accept we did not want to open the door late in the evening. Staff arguing laut during the day and in the evening. The breakfast consists of cakes, biscuits. No fruit or yogurt..

Liked: The quality of accomodation is proportional to the price. The hostel is close to the railway station. The staff is very friendly and tries to help for the travelers. There is free wifi, and the arrival is very flexible.

Disliked: The staff is very friendly, but not everyone speaks english. The hostel is difficultly can be found, because there isn't enought signaled.

Liked: A really Italian experience for only a few dollars. Great hotel! Just what you expect when you decide to go to Italy.

Disliked: The "Ensuite" rooms are not ensuite. The thing is that you expect to have a bathroom in your room (like in other European countries) however you pay for "ensuite" but they give you a sink and the thing to wash your butt. Nothing more.

Liked: The front desk and kitchen staff were really friendly and accommodating. It was very nice to be provided towels, soap and shampoo, along with the free wi-fi and city maps. It was really easy to get around to see the "Last Supper," the castle, Duomo, etc., by walking/metro. A good value for the price.

Liked: This hostel is a VERY good choice. Very well situated, has FREE internet and breakfast, and I cannot stress this enough, VERY clean. Staff is friendly and having stayed at another hostel in Milan, Hotel Panizza is clearly the best choice.

Liked: Excellent hostel. Almost as good as a hotel. We had a private double, it was huge, clean and perfect! Sink in room. Toilet and shoer room clean. Small social room with two computers with free wi-fi. Buffet breakfast for free, was okay. Young lady on reception was very friendly and welcoming and always smiling!

Disliked: No negatives, enjoyed our stay.

Liked: The staff were very friendly and helpful. They booked our taxi for us and were very flexible with our arrival and departure times.

Disliked: The hotel was old, and for a light sleeper, it would be impossible to get a good night's sleep. I had earplugs, and it was still woken up due to noise several times. Also, one of the showers had a large amount of black mold.

Liked: I really liked the old building that it was situated in and the staff are extremely helpful and friendly. The breakfast was a very good deal as well.

Disliked: It was a little noisy in the morning with all the cars going by.

Liked: Very secure, key for main door as well as own door. Clean rooms and toilet, friendly staff. Wide range of breakfast items to choose from, considering the cheap price.

Disliked: The location pinpointed on Google Maps was wrong. The hotel is actually on the other side of the road and a couple of blocks down. Also the toilet sometimes smelt of cigarette smoke.

Liked: Very close to the Metro station.

Disliked: The shower temperature is very erratic. Very hot for some time and freezing cold in the next minute. The bathroom is tiny. Very basic and average quality facility. Location doesn't offer much. Stay in Nagvili.
