Liked: The Chinese family who own the hostel make you feel very welcome. Early check in was no problem, everything was very clean, there was room cleaning every day, the bathrooms were cleaned at least twice a day, it got a little cold at night - but milan in the winter is freezing! and they provide extra blankets. The towels are included, the beds are okay, the breakfast is made fresh when you're ready for it - eggs, croissant, tea, fruit - it was perfect! I would stay here again if I went back to Milan, and I would definitely recommend this hostel. There are great restaurants and shopping nearby, and the city center is just a 10 minute bus ride away.

Disliked: The location was a LITTLE hard to find - but since you're reading this you won't have a problem. From Linate airport, take bus 73 (not the express 73 just regular 73) and get off at Ameilia Square - it'll be right across the street from the hotel. You just have to look UP because it occupies the 4th floor of a building.

Liked: A very good clean hotel, not too far from the town centre or the shopping streets. (Its not bang next door to them though, you will need public transport to get them.) Close to multiple nodes of public transport. It was an excellent breakfast, very sumptuous and prepared specially. Free high speed wifi.

Disliked: You have to ask for everything, wont get it as a matter of course eventhough its mentioned as "included in the price". (If you ask, you will get it readily.) This instruction stands for towels, intenet, breakfast.

Liked: chinese woman who was running could not have been more friendly and helpful. do not expect 5star quality but for the price you pay it is well worth it. free breakfast included and you dont have to pay extra for linen and towels. bus stop right outside which brings you right into the centre and also only 10 mins from linate airport.

Disliked: small bit cold but other than that it is the ideal place to stay if you simply want a cheap place to stay for couple of nights.

Liked: Super friendly staff and about 10mins tram from the Dome! Rooms are clean, tidy and great price for location.

Disliked: That you always need to drop the key off when you leave and ring the bell when you arrive. No. of showers and toilets is not necessarily enough for the amount of people but it's doable.

Liked: Clean and tidy Bigger breakfast offered than in other places we stayed

Disliked: Gloomy and no atmosphere at all. Out of the way although once you get the trams, its OK. Expensive for what you get.

Liked: It's very clean, and the staff is very helpful. Not so close to the city center as I hoped, but it's Milan and everything is well connected with metro so it's possible to get to any place very fast.

Disliked: Breakfast could be better.

Disliked: There was only one shower for all the dorms, only 1 key for the dorm, no kitchen and no common room.

Disliked: far from city centre, staff take away keys whenever you leave property so you have to always ring the doorbell to be let in

Liked: It was cheap and the bed was clean.

Disliked: No locks, no lockers and just empty in terms of any sort of character or atmosphere. Don't stay here if you are a lone backpacker or your stay in milan is going to be pretty lonely and boring.

Liked: It's a Chinese family run hotel, with helpful staff. No curfew, clean, strong breakfast (egg breakfast very unusual for Italy =) Good location.

Disliked: No locks in shared dorm room.

Liked: Good people that helped me call a cab for a ride to the airport. It was clean, and the rooms had a nice vibe to them

Disliked: No where to safely put your stuff and internet was kinda shakey.

Liked: Generally, i'm really satisfied with this trip in the hotel america! Good atmosphere and clean.

Disliked: The indication is not enough clear, it took me almost 2 hours to get there.

Liked: Angela (woman who works there) is awesome! Decent breakfast, real character for a hostel.

Disliked: Expensive for a dorm bed, hard to find the first time, no lockers, internet is expensive.

Liked: Very nice and helpfull staff, clean hotel, we really enjoyed our stay

Disliked: Very small rooms and only one shower. But it was no big deal, as we used the hotel only to sleep over.

Liked: The owner was hiware-weous! And spoke very good engrish. Breakfast was like nothing I have seen before. The hospitallity was excellent and very friendly, it made our time in Milan even better and wanting to stay longer.

Disliked: Showers were quite dirty and small, but that's just being petty.

Liked: Staff was very helpful and prepared nice breakfast. Room had small balcony and TV.

Disliked: First night shower was not working properly and only cold water. Next night it was fixed and worked good. Room was quite small.

Liked: breakfast was the best part.

Disliked: everything else, the showers were bad. there is no luggage room- they store it behind their tiny desk. our room was cramped- bed touching one another and smelly.
