Liked: It was reasonably central. The owner was an interesting character. The beds were comfortable and there was plenty of room for luggage.

Liked: It is great! Really it is more like a hotel than a hostel. Clean and safe and a very comfortable place to stay

Liked: Very friendly staff. The owner was especially very helpful and very friendly. Staying at the Hotel America was one of the highlights of our trip to Milan

Liked: Friendly staff, the people were great. The location is quite good, considering how big Milan really is. I do not agree with others concerning the club on the ground floor - you do hear it, but it's not much and it was no problem for me (I am a light sleeper).

Liked: the staff were super friendly. transportation was pretty good. a 20 minute walk to the main square. lots of things around the hostel. we certainly go back again.

Liked: Giovanni (I think he's the owner) is the friendliest member of staff I have ever met in a hostel/hotel. He was amazingly genorous and friendly. This isn't a party hostel, but it's a great place to come and relax if traveling's getting a bit hectic...

Liked: The owner is fantastic and very friendly. The service is great and the hotel was very comfortable. The hotel is in a great part of Milan and easy to get in and out of the city. I definitely recommend this hotel.
