Liked: There is a very nice confectionery just at the street corner, perfect for a lovely breakfast (even on Sunday), preferable to the one the hotel could possibly offer (we didn't try that one). Relatively clean (beds, linen, ...), not so much under the beds (wisps of dust), or in the corners.
Disliked: We got different rooms than those ordered (got 3+3+1, instead of 6+2). That meant rollaway bed had to be installed into one of the already cramped 3 bed rooms to turn it into 4 bed room (a table had to be removed first). As a compenstion, we were only asked to pay 140 instead of the original 146 for one night. In at least on of the rooms (#4) if was impossible to take shower as there was almost no hot water coming out of the tap. We complained about the rollaway bed in the morning, because it broke apart, and one of us thus had to sleep on the floor just on the mattress. The complain was dismissed in the most impolite way: we were asked to leave the building immediately (at around 8 although the room should be left by 11) under the threat of our things being thown out of the window. In the end the owner spat on the floor and went away. In one room theTV didnt work.

Liked: I booked hotel 5 month ago for the furniture fair in Milan I knew that it was tuff to get good hotel. I tried to find nice price and found Sun Giovanni.. One month after I was going to reconfirm my booking several time by e-mail but they didn't reply me I thought it was strange. So I sent the confirmation by fax. At last they reply me with different price. They gave me 20 discount but it was 3 time more than normal price because of the Fair. They can't do that we made already contract. I am a student. I can't pay so much money. And other cheap hotels were already full booked. I ask for little more discount by e-mail. They didn't reply me again for long time.. I send fax again then they answer me an very late eveningI think it was close to 11 pm and they say that "it I don't answer today the booking was cancelled". It wasn't very kind they gave me only one hour to have the answer. I saw the mail 20 min before midnight. I thought I was lucky. They didn't give me more discount but no choice. other nice price hotels are fully booked. I say ok. But it didn't finish yet. They e-mail me again 20 % the booking price and EXTRA REBOOKING FEE!! I thought it was silly. I didn't want to stay there so I cancelled. They said that they pay me back my deposit 35€ but I haven't get it yet. I am waiting for it already 2 month.

Liked: This is a hotel, and the location is very residential. That said, there are a few cool bars near by, and some great restaraunts. Quiet place on a quiet street that can be tough to find. Also, if your Italian isn't pretty good the staff will not be able to help.
