We recommend visiting the following near the Duomo in the centre of Milan: the Duomo, the grandiose Gothic cathedral symbol of the city, Palazzo Reale, an 18th century palace now home to a museum and site for exhibitions, Galleria Vittorio Emanuele, with its original iron and glass roof.

On a peaceful street in the heart of the eastern area of Milan, the Delizia is 200 meters from Melloni hospital and near the National Tumor Institute on Via Venezian, convenient to the Via Pace and Via Sforza entrances of Maggiore, Mangiagalli and Regina Elena Hospitals.
It is also near the Giuseppe Verdi Conservatory (Via Conservatorio), the main site of Università Statale on Via Festa del Perdono (2 km) and Città Studi, where various departments of the State and Politecnical University are located (Piazza Leonardo da Vinci).

Within an area of 400 meters, on Corso Plebiscito, Viale XXII Marzo and Viale Campania, there are 12 tram and bus stops, which provide transportation to hospitals, university, and city centre in just minutes. Bus no. 73 stops on Viale XXII Marzo, which takes 10 minutes to get to the Conservatory and Piazza San Babila, right in the centre, and in the opposite direction to Linate Airport in 15 minutes. Bus no. 93 stops on Viale Campania, which takes 10 minutes to reach the National Tumor Institute and no. 91, which in 10 minutes arrives at Politechnical University.
The stop in Piazzale Dateo of the Railway Link (Ferrovie Nord) which connects the lines of the metro is 150 meters from Hotel Delizia. One stop leads to the red metro line (1) for the Duomo and Trade Show Centre (Polo Urbano and Nuovo Polo at Rho - Pero), two to the yellow line (3) for Central train station and three to the green line (2) for Brera and Sant'Ambrogio.

It is also convenient for those who come to Milan by car, Hotel Delizia is a couple of kilometres from the Forlanini exit on the Tangenziale Est, which is connected with the freeways A4 (Turin - Venice), A8 (Milan - Lakes) and A1 (Milan - Bologna).
