Liked: The location of this small hotel is great; near the princiipal railway station and a five minutes walk from the historic center of Genova. The breakfast is ok, very simple but at least served as a buffet so that you can eat as much as you like. One positive surprise was that our room was equipped with an aircondition, this was something we had definatley not expected from a two star hotel.

Liked: It was very clean and the staff was realy friendly, very nice the rooms, with paints on the seilling, but there were not stairs and was hard with the luggage.

Liked: The staff, particularly one person, was extrememly helpful. As soon as we asked the question about where to go and what to do, he had out a map and highlighter and gave us a great description in good English.

Liked: Beautiful little hotel - amazing frescos on our room ceiling and the breakfast room ceiling! We had a great room - very big with 12 foot ceiling - a relief after some of the tiny little places we stayed in previously. Breakfast was a delicious buffet - loved the chocolat! This hotel was a little bit pricier than other two stars that we stayed at, however, the huge comfy room with CNN + MTV, great breakfast and convenient location (five minutes' walk to train station and 15 minutes to the Porta Antico) was worth the extra EUR20.

Liked: Very good value, it is a former palace with large rooms, many of which have frescos on the ceiling. Within walking distance of the train station, as well as the old town center and boardwalk.

Liked: That the hostel was very clean, daily clean towels, not too noisy, the staff speaks english & was very helpfull.............but most I like the location, 200m from the train station. Very handy for making daily trips!

Liked: Close to train station and to the city main attractions.Nice frescoes in the ceiling in the double and triple rooms, reminder of the building´s former history of great palazzo.
