Liked: Good location, quite place

Disliked: but TV not working for entire duration of my stay. reminded staff about this but nothing was done. I was told all rooms are air conditioned but my single room booked had no air conditioner . it would have been much better if they had common simple kitchen with basic utensils

Liked: The value for this price is excellent; good location and great recommendations for restaurant + gelateria (ice cream place) from staff.

Disliked: There were tons of mosquitoes in our room (the windows did not have mosquiteo nets). We woke up during the night all the time because of them, and left with very many bite marks.

Liked: The staff were quite helpfull and friendly and it was in a good location, being within walking distance of most of the attractions the main station. The room was well appointed and the bed was comfortable. There was also a really good Tuscan restaurant across the street which served the best food we had in Italy.

Disliked: The drainage in the bathroom wasn't the best so water flowed into the hall whenever someone had a long shower. The place wasn't overly interesing, but we were too busy seeing Florence to really worry about anything more than a comfortable bed, which was provided.

Liked: The rooms were very clean and spacious. Location is excellent, did not need to use public transport at all during my stay in Florrence. Helpful & friendly staff.

Liked: Nice location

Disliked: Absence of the staff at the desk, it was empty most of the time, except for someone's arrival.

Liked: Good location, close to everything and clean facility and secluded.

Disliked: One bathroom, water pressure was very weak/slow and it took forever to shower, rooms are small, staff are uninformed about attractions/etc.

Liked: The location is PERFECT! Hotel Etrusca says that they are 5 minutes away from the train station Santa Maria Nouvella and they mean it! There are tons of little restaurants near by and the leather market is less than 2 minutes away. The duomo is about 3-4 minutes away as well! Also the staff is all extremely friendly. Whenever we needed help with something they were there to help. The beds were comfortable too. Also there are some nice views from the balcony off the room.

Disliked: The one thing that I didn't like about Hotel Etrusca was that the shower floor wasn't slanted enough so water would get all over the bathroom floor when anyone took a shower. That's it though. There was almost nothing to dislike about this property! You get what you pay for.

Liked: Great location in very good neighborhood. It is close to everything- train station, Duomo and all other landmarks. The lady at the reception - Angela is very nice and pleasant and always helpful. There is good cafeteria right next to the hotel with very good coffee and pasta. We had a very nice stay at hotel Etrusca.

Disliked: Asen left no negative feedback.

Liked: Great location, very helpful owner and reliable wifi.

Disliked: The bathrooms were not great - poor drainage, no shower mat so really grubby and wet floors, broken shower curtain, and only 2 for the whole hostel...but, it's a cheap place for Florence so you can't expect too much I guess.

Liked: It is a safe hostel with a secured gate at ground floor before entering the building. Good location from rail station and bus interchange for those taking trains to outlet store. Very near to shopping district and museum as well. Strong wifi connection. Bakery, supermarket, restaurants eating house and bars beside the hostel. Free hot water and tea at hostel. Friendly staff. Comfy beds!

Disliked: Some problem with the flushing systems of toilet at times.

Liked: The staff was really friendly. The owner was very helpful! The towels were big and the room had it's own heater. The location was great, it's near the San Lorenzo market and we walked it everyday to get around.

Disliked: The reception closed at 10 so other guests got really noisy. The walls were thin and we didn't sleep well. If too many people used the showers they got pretty dirty. If you're looking for a quiet place, this is not for you.

Liked: The manager was so friendly and helpful. Gave us fantastic reccomendations for food, wine, gelato and all the must sees of florence.

Disliked: A bit cold due to very small heaters that are not on often. Summer would be fine though

Liked: What was particularly good about this hostel was the staff and their help in relations to seeing Florence. When we first arrived the owner gave us a free map and on it marked off the major attractions, best ways to get each and recommended a number of places to eat, drink and the best ice-cream shop in the city. This made getting started and planning the trip much easier and they were always on hand if you had any problems or need help.

Disliked: Our room door faced right onto reception, which could get a little noisy or tricky if you were going in and out and not wanting to project your privacy.

Liked: They are lovely people, very nice and always ready to give you information. Our room was not very big but was quiet and confortable. Many good place near by were to eat or drink something.

Disliked: This place is not very big (I think no more than 8/10 rooms) so it is no easy to meet new people. Outside bathroom was little bit small, anyway good value for money.
