Liked: Location is near to S.M.N. station and walkable to the main sights and shopping areas.

Disliked: Room has no air-condition and the in-door shower facility (without a WC) is very strange.

Liked: One of the owners, Alessandro, is really kind and helpful!!! Its a cute, less touristy little hotel.

Disliked: Lamp and TV didnt work in room, but didnt even bother to ask about them. they probably wouldve fixed the problem had i asked.

Liked: Location and the staff were friendly.

Disliked: It smelt terribly of smoke throughout the hotel, despite the signs asking people not to. It was very very stuffy and there was no a/c.

Liked: The guy who met us at the front was GREAT! Very friendly, didn't mind that we wanted to check-out the next day at 8:00am (when there will be nobody at reception). We had the shower in our room which we didn't mind (very clean), and the shared toilet was located opposite our bedroom door. Plenty of storage space, clean warm beds. Located 15 mins walk to Duomo, 10 mins by bus from S.M.N train station. I might consider finding somewhere closer to the station next time because carrying my heavy bags made me want to get to the place quicker, but really it isn't very far away. FANTASTIC price for one night stay.

Liked: It has what you need if your a couple staying here. There was a shower in the room (yet strangely enough, the toilet was across the hall. It had a broken seat that didn't get fixed until our last day staying there). The A/C was either non-existent or didn't work, so we had to leave the windows open at night. That's a bad thing in September considering the mosquito problem in Italy this time of year. Overall, it's an OK value for Florence.

Liked: the staff was very helpful and told us where we could catch the bus and answered any questions we had. the only thing that was a little unexpected was how far outside the main area of the city it was. the website says it is near David, and this is true, but i was unaware that david is very close to the edge of the city. however, the price was good and the city bus was pretty easy, and only costs like 1 euro per trip. also, a bit noisy since it is on a rather busy street. id reccommend bringing earplugs if you are a light sleeper (i had no problem, but my friend needed earplugs)

Liked: Room came with balcony overlooking lovely backyards of Florence. Nice to be slightly out of the hustle and bustle of Florence (20min walk to Duomo).
