Liked: I was pleasantly surprised. The rooms were big and clean, breakfast was delicious. Communication was done in my very very bad italian, but it was better for the staff, they're not really good on English, which is fine by me. I think you can ask for directions and some basic information with anybody in any language, you don't have to know it.

Liked: Very nice breakfast, large room (stayed in private - ensuite room), good location.

Disliked: Credit Cards not accpeted, even tho this site says they do.

Liked: Nice location, in the middle of the city. No parking space near the hotel.

Disliked: The window we where staying did not have any windows! There was no one to open the door when we arrived at the hostel. We had to whait a few minutes untill fo one off the staff members.

Liked: just in the city center, excellent location, very quiet, quite clean, very good breakfast.

Disliked: The staff is normally out, so to contact them you must phone. Some dificulties to pay, due to the lack of competent staff in the morning.

Liked: I liked the homely feel and the fact that the doors to the rooms are large glass ones with curtains.

Liked: Because of the volcano cloud, our travel plans were altered. We arrived early in the morning by night train, 8 hours after our scheduled time. We called the hotel to let them know. The hotel let us check in early (at 7:30 am) and fed us breakfast. We were not charged for the extra time in the hotel. The location is great! The room was large and clean, with our own bathroom! The breakfast was wonderful!

Liked: The location is very central. The staff are quite nice but they dont speak english. The guy at the reception was never seen again after we checked in. He also did not seem to know the places/activities that he recommended very well- the tour he recommended for us was very far off from what he described and what we expected- A total waste of money. Other than that, breakfast is average, the room was quite noisy because it is right next to some kind of plant room, and the room is quite dark.

Liked: about 10 minutes by walk from the intercity bus station and train station.Right at the city center (Etnea street), view from the window is awesome. internet is good, room is clean. highly recommended.one thing though, caretaker (woman) can't speak English. but that doesn't make any problem at all, first because it's Sicily (where Language except Italian is almost useless) and the manager speak very good English.

Liked: The manager is really nice and helpful. We were treated a family. The location cannot be better. I couldn't make out how they offer such great service and rooms with such a low price. Strongly recommended.

Liked: The owners were so helpful.... When we wanted to do something they told us exactly what we needed. The rooms are beautiful, and the breakfast was great.

Liked: I liked very much the kindness and helpfulness of the staff. The breakfast was great too. Very good qulity/price ratio. I recommend it strongly and I will definitely go back there if I have to stay at Catania next time.

Liked: What a wonderful place to stay! We had just booked a double room and it turned out to be ensuite too! Lovely big room, attractive decor, Aircon, comfy bed, good breakfast etc. DIVINE! Very central and easy bus ride to station. A super base for visiting Siracusa and Ragusa! Perfect place to relax in after a hot day sight seeing... Such excellent value.
