Liked: EXCELLENT BREAKFAST AND CLEANLINESS

Disliked: 1) THE STEPS OF THE LEADERS FOR CLIMB TO THE TOP BED ON THE DORMS ARE MADE OF SQUARE METAL AND HURT YOUR FEET. 2) THE GUY THAT SERVE THE BREAKFAST HAVE VERY RUDE MODES.

Liked: One of the main things I loved (and fully utilized) about my stay here was the free tea/coffee, as well as fridge space. The general lobby area was a great place to meet new people, with a fantastic balcony for smokers. The breakfast was also fantastic.

Liked: The staff were helpful and friendly.

Disliked: Single room was clean but marks and dirty walls everywhere. Light fittings unsecured, smoke detector covered. TV, but no idea how to make it work. A/C controller seemed to control a light. Showers hot and cold every five minutes. Communal toilets tiny. Tired, broken tiles. Breakfast was interesting...I'm not sure if it was traditional Israeli, but didn't seem at all popular, judging by how much was left over. Continental would serve better for travellers unused to pitta bread and spicy something AM. Very expensive as well for single room....in Jerusalem, get something ensuite, 100 times better for less.

Liked: Plus side is the staff were great and not rude unlike the other outside services(ie like some car rental company called E!d@n) in Israel. Chef was great.. cooked a simple delicious and sumptous breaky. He also doubles up as car park attendent, bell boy etc . Incredibly helpful but when you finished your breaky, remember to take your plates to the kitchen sink otherwise he gets sweetly grumpy. Hell of a character..lol

Disliked: The toilets weren't clean more like a public toilet than a hotel loo. Maybe to help the image of the place, a more regular check would be nice. It looked clean on the website but a bit older and tatty.

Disliked: the guy who cooks the great breakfast shouted at us to speed up eating... maybe crazy?! the hostel claims this place to be friendly and we could not chat while having breakfast in an almost empty kitchen...??? weird

Liked: The staff were very friendly & helpful. Everything was as described. We stayed in the 5 bed female dorm and were pleasantly surprised to find lockers for valuables, although you have to provide the lock. The sheets & towels were clean and fresh, and the best part is that it's only 5 min. from the sea! Enjoy...

Liked: The location is very good.

Disliked: The rooms are very small for the amount of people in each room. You have to arrange your own bed. The bathrooms are very small and not very clean.

Liked: Located right near the beach, and very central.

Disliked: Lounge can feel a little cramped. The baggage room is more like a closet rather than a room which can make storing your bag very diffficult.

Liked: Extremely helpful and friendly staff - they lent me a world adaptor for the duration of my stay, free luggage storage and you can still use the showers, toilets etc even after check out ('youre still our guest') - very pleasant experience indeed!

Disliked: I needed some tourist advice and the lady on reception that time was really impatient and unhelpful. One with glasses and frizzy light hair. The rest were good.

Liked: Breakfastis excellent:a lot of tasty local food. Atmosphere is nice too: many backpackers and travellers from around the globe - interesting conversations and positive connections.

Disliked: Despite booking in 5-preson dorm, they send me to a room with 8 persons (and for the same price!). Room was definitely too small for so many people:no space to step between backpacks, cloths and beds. Wi-Fi works very bad - the connection was disappearing fery often.
