Liked: Great character to the building, very friendly staff and decent enough rooms for the excellent price.

Disliked: Little bit of a stroll out of town (not too bad tho). Also, the hotel is located above a nightclub so if it's an early night you're after on a weekend visit, forget it. No soap in the bathroom - only towels were included here. Have to say though, I can't complain too much as a Saturday night stay only cost me €30 so there you go.

Liked: Great location. You get what you pay for.

Disliked: Nothing really. But i would not recommend this hotel if you want to have a quite night of sleep. It's on a busy road and there are some pubs/clubs in the surrouning buildings and across the street. For us it wasn't a problem because we didn't have to have a long walk for a decent pint. So great Hotel if you want to stay for a night out or a weekend of drinking with your friends.

Liked: spacious rooms, good location - 10min walk from city centre

Disliked: The bedrooms are above a nightclub so the noise level is like you're actually in the club. IMPOSSIBLE TO SLEEP UNLESS YOU HAVE EARPLUGS!!! We asked to move rooms, however it was just as noisy. The receptionist gave us some ear plugs which suprisingly worked. One woman on reception was unbelievably unhelpful and rude-she had a massive chip on her shoulder! The other reception staff were ok but pretty unhelpful because they couldn't speak English.

Liked: Dublin is an expensive place and it is possibly the cheapest place within reasonable walking distance to the city.

Disliked: No kettle in the room.

Liked: Size of rooms is surprising, It's pretty quiet, esp. considering the location, 20 walk to temple bar

Liked: Cheap, rooms are equipped with bathroom, clean in general, good location.

Disliked: Extremely noisy due to the nightclub right below the hotel. Noisy travelers as well. Not recommendable for people who are looking for a quiet experience.

Disliked: The receptionist on the day we were checking out was very unhelpful compared with the member of staff who was there on arrival who went the extra mile when answering questions.

Disliked: the staff disputed the rate on my arrival at 11.30pm. i was already tired, and had to go on the internet to prove my booking with Hostelbookers.

Liked: Compared to it's low price the room was very nice, and what's even more important to me: clean. Value for money, definitely.

Liked: very nice atmospere, the building having been a theatre previously,generally the staff were helpful.very noisy at night though due to extremely loud music and people's voices of the 2 clubs next to the hostel.
