Liked: The rooms were really good, nicely decorated, comfortable beds, good sized bathrooms and air-con. The location was excellent.. it is at the bottom end of the main strip, meaning its near all the nicer restaurants and bars are close. Given that ths is mainly a late night bar, the rooms are surprisingly quiet.. although you can just about hear the distant bass from the Tir Na nOg bar until the early hours.

Disliked: The staff are great in the evenings when they are trying to get all the late night customers to the bar or restaurant, but I think the majority of them forget that they are actually a hotel also as during the day they are pretty disinterested. There were one or two excellent staff.. and none were overtly rude... but just dont be surprised if you have to make more of an effort to get what you want in the day.

Liked: Friendly staff, Great food and cheap beer.

Disliked: Heaps of mozzies even in the rooms. Pool is great to swim in but always dirty. They should clean it during the day while it's being used.

Liked: The hotel was right smack in the middle of all the noise and happening at night.

Disliked: The floor was oily when I stepped in. Even after the daily room cleaning, it was still the same. We had to wear shoes in the room. Mosquitoes are everywhere. Pls prepare mosquito coil. There was no beach in front of the hotel. You'll have to walk about 15 mins if you want to enjoy the beach.

Liked: Great place. Excellent location, in the heart of the "town." Best bar on the island. Very friendly, helpful owners and staff. Room well-appointed. Spotless. Extra towels and free water provided.

Disliked: Pool not in operation during my stay. Also didn't realize breakfast was included--wasn't ever mentioned during check-in.

Liked: Very good breakfast included in the price. Room was very clean and was cleaned/beds dressed every day. The food in the bar is excellent and good value. Would recommend you stay here.

Disliked: Would have liked to have fresh towels during our stay - we didn't get any.

Liked: everithing...

Disliked: People seem to be used to leave the room keys in a basket at the reception before leaving to the beach or elsewhere in the evening. Since there is not a receptionist at all time (and particularly in the evening/night) I did not feel confortable in leaving my key there. However, once you know, it's fine.

Liked: only for the manager of Tir na nOg my stay on gili trawangan wud have been not as good. Rizal was so so nice and so helpful to me and my boyfriend as the only ATM on the island would nottake my card and the credit card machines on the island wereold and had problems wit my credit card. He showed us personally where to go on the island for cash advance and on another day he showed us personlly which shop wud sell us a fast boat ticket back to bali at the cheapest price- it was by far the cheapest like 250,000 cheaper than most other peoples. all the staff went out of their way to nice and remember ur name, the food was really nice the room was fantastic and beautifully decorated.if u want v v nice staff and good service go here.thanks a million again to rizal who's stories and insight into island life were brilliant best manager ever

Liked: The first day we checked in at Tir Na Nog, they said they had a problem, because they were overbooked. If we minded to stay in the villa instead? Hahha ofcourse not. We stayed at Tir Na Nog for 5 nights, the staff is very friendly and helpful. The food is great and so are the movies cabins. Thanks staff for a nice stay at the Gilli's!

Liked: The location was excellent - right in the middle of where it all happens in Gili Tranwagan with easy access to all facilities and agents. The staff were really friendly and helpful.The two bars were always lively with a good atmosphere.The little "cinemas" with a great choice of film (although the subtitles left a lot to be desired) were a really good way to chill out and relax.

Liked: Although the villa is not in front of the beach, but the atmosphere is good.It's near to jetty and located at the center of happening area.The staff is very friendly and the food there is nice.Some of the room air-conditioner is not cold enough.A very simple room that don't provide anything more than basics.Overall, the villa is good and will consider to stay again.

Liked: We were upgraded from two bungalows to a private villa with pool, what is not to like about that? Besides the villa we had three bungalows that also were very good value for money. My warmest recomendations!
