Liked: Location was great! right near the main ghat

Disliked: quite difficult to find when you first arrive but I think this is the case for most places along the ghats

Liked: The closeness to the river. We happened to arrive for the full moon festival and the view of the river festivities was good.

Disliked: The water pulsated out of the standalone shower. Luckily the the bathtub shower worked. It was also a little hard to get there because of the full moon festival.

Liked: We found the cleanest bedroom in India, with very modern and clean bath. Staff is always ready to help you and they seem very happy. The location is unbeatable, excellent. Very good breakfast included. The staff of the restaurant, excellent.

Disliked: Prices are rather high but Varanasi is a expensive city... Sights from first floor are very good but not enough wide. The topfloor isn´t enough clean, although the sights get you forget that.

Liked: A great location on the Ganges.

Disliked: Very little to dislike - staff was helpful (maybe a bit too keen to take one to associated firms producing silk materials etc but not all that much of a problem). Item 7 below - although Hostel Bookers was noted by Management, they seemed keener that we submit comments to Tripadvisor.
