Liked: The nicest staff ever, Deepak and John are increadibly friendly & helpfull, the whole athmosphere is great, it's a nice guesthouse! The rooms are very basic, the beds are quite hard for european travellers, which is the same all over Asia! Stay there, you won't regret.

Disliked: Constantin-Balte left no negative feedback.

Liked: This hotel is a gem - peaceful, chilled out and has a lovely simplicity to it. The tree growing through the middle of the courtyard adds so much character! The owner is a lovely friendly guy who is up for a chat and a game of chess :) Highly recommended - we didn't want to leave!

Liked: Great atmosphere and people/staff. Close to everything you would want to see in Pushkar. Definitely the best (and most affordable) place that we have stayed in India.

Disliked: The beds were a little bit hard but not a problem as this is quite good for your back :) and also depends on what you are used to. Otherwise no problems at all.

Liked: John and Jay were AMAZING!!-seriously helpful in all aspects of the roller coaster of trave and really honest and down to earthl! Also Eva (Jay's fiance..!!) was really helpful and nice! Great place to meet other travellers and easy access to all the sights but possibly slightly quieter than most places as it is just out of the center.

Disliked: only only thing would be the beds could do with a little more padding!! apart from that-great value for money!

Liked: I wish all accomodation facilities in India were like that one. Excellent value for money, relaxing roof top, and very friendly and polite staff. Would come here again definitely.

Liked: Loved the situation. Just a short walk out of the main bazaar. Good to not be in the centre of the noise. Deepak and John were very helpful. We very much enjoyed our stay here. Only negative for us was the malfunctioning wifi. They are working on it.

Liked: The staff at Akash are extremely friendly and helpful, and were even able to accommodate special dietary needs that I had. The hostel rooms are clean and secure, and the rooftop lounge area is ideal for chilling out (as the name suggests) and sipping on a masala chai.

Liked: This is one of the nicest budget places we have stayed and Deepak is one in a million when it comes to friendliness. He was always willing to help with anything we needed and never forced any services upon you which is rare in India. The room was cosy, very clean and quiet. We felt quite at home!

Disliked: Free wifi would have made this the best place in Pushkar.

Liked: This place is run by the nicest guys. Honestly, I've been in India for almost 2 months now, and these guys were awesome. Stayed in one of the single rooms, which for what you are paying, are pretty damn decent too. Restaurant on the roof is brilliant for breakfasts too. Would definitely recommend here.

Disliked: Wifi didn't work on my laptop, but think thats probably my fault. Location is 5 mins walk away from the hustle and bustle, but this is good. Plenty of street signs to direct you to the property!

Liked: The rooms are basic, but the staff is unbelievable. Hands down the kindest, most helpful, and most hospitable welcome we've had anywhere in India so far. John gave us travel tips, offered to walk us to the bus station, and even made us one of his mother's traditional desserts. I wanted to ask him to come with us and run every hotel we stayed at for the rest of our trip.

Liked: It is a friendly guesthouse, very basic and cheap. The brothers and cousin managing it are very friendly. They have excellent manners and have travelled abroad themself. Also what makes the difference compared to other hotels is that it is a familly business no staff......

Disliked: The shared bathroom and toilet should be improved.

Liked: 1. Professional menager 2. Daily newspaper 3. Wi-Fi 4. Clean toilet - these are things that i find only in Akash Hotel. No other questhouse during my stay in India wasn't as good as Akash

Liked: the staff is frendly and helpful,this one of the most safe place i felt in india,i could leave all my belongs in the unlocked tent.and the roof top resturant is very relaxing

Disliked: its not worthy to spend that much money on a tent room,through its expensive ,the hotel is located in a very noisy street,i couldnt sleep one night because they played loud music all night in the temple which is next to my tent room

Liked: This hostel was incredible. Very clean, safe and friendly. Filter (the owner) did everything he could to make us feel wecome. We were unwell at the time (nothing to do with the hostel) and they did everything they could to make us feel comfortable. The people who run the hostel are some of the most friendly and helpful people we have met in India. The hostel itself is walking distance from all the things you would want to see and has a very nice rooftop cafe. Infact the hostel is built around a wonderful tree which makes the cafe have a lovely relaxed atmosphere. We would highly recommend this place.

Disliked: There was no internet at he time, however there was perfectly good internet just a few minutes walk away.

Liked: The staff at Hotel Akash were so friendly, welcoming us with tea and could not do enough to help during our stay. They were always on hand to answer any questions that we had and would help with anything that they could. Food was really good and the rooms were fantastic value for money.
