Liked: Rooms are good, with big windows, beds were ok, cleanliness also ok, staff was good. Price also good for the room, its cleanliness & facilities.

Disliked: Difficult to find for first timers. Its opposite Reebok showroom on Market road. Restaurant is on the roof of the other building's roof, which is the sister hotel of this one, though room service is available. Could not found any public area in the hotel where you can meet other guests.

Liked: It was near the train station in Delhi.

Disliked: The airport pick-up did not work out me. The rooms were averagely clean and were poorly clean for the price. Tours were poorly explained. My watched was stolen from my wrist by one of the guys hanging out inside the hotel (I don't think he worked there.) The hot water did not last long enough for me to wash my hair at 5:15am and no hot water at night.

Liked: the staff were brilliant at helping me arrange my onward journey.

Disliked: I arranged a pick up from the airport through the hotel paying 700Rs. Once I arrived in Dehli I saw the same service advertised for 250Rs elsewhere.

Liked: It is well positioned regarding New Delhi Railway Station and Connaught Place. Its immediate surrounding (the Bazaar) may be a surprise to a newcomer to India (specally on a rainy day), but advantages prevail over disadvantages. The name is well chosen, but I have to admit that my phantasies about Paradise are different. :-))One problem I would like to mention: the sound isolation of the rooms. People with less sound sleep may have problem as one can be aware of happenings in some of the adjacent rooms and of processes happening on the corridor. Nevertheless, I knew about this issue and as I have a sound sleep I do not mind it. Further, people that have tendency for gloomy states of mind may find the atmosphere of the rooms a bit pessimistic.The hotel does not have facilities for meeting people - perhaps exept the roof. The staff is friendly and I have not encountered any process that would mar this image. All that we agreed upon happened in that way. All what we communicated through e-mail was managed as we agreed. Responses to e-mails were quick.They have a small Tourist agency that can be very helpful, but one has to note that they do not always have a good judgement of what an European traveller finds acceptable. Not every European is well trained e.g. to endure the long distance night tourists buses (I am not speaking of the Volvo type buses, but the usual Indian Tourist buses). It is not a fault, but a view from a different point of angle. I am writing about this as I bought a place in such a bus through them (not knowing the way how these buses operate and what is their construction). It was a hard night, I have to say.They also operate an Internet "cafe", promising "fast" internet, but that has a different meaning in India and in Europe. It would be nice if the rooms would be covered by wifi.They used to have a restaurant in the neighbouring associated hotel, but now that is under reconstruction, so food is delivered to the rooms. This is fine in principle, but given the relative lack of natural light in the rooms that I used since I know the hotel, it is not an ideal place to enjoy a nice food. If the weather and time of the day permits, the roof is a better place to do so.The place itself is safe and secure to the degree that the keys seem to lock the room, the rooms have a phone and a button for calling for immediate attention of the staff (to which they respond easily). The Bazaar is full of all types of people, but that is again not their responsibility.I would rexcommend to fit every room with a wardrobe. Also towels could be included in the basic price.I cannot truthfully answer the question No.6 as I was not yielding much space for the promotion of HostelBookers during my stay.All in all it is a very good value for the money spent. I will use their services again if I am around and need a good place for spending the nights.

Liked: Location and proximity to train station. And on return to Delhi, they let us stow luggage for a few hours before heading to the airport even though we were not spending the night again. That was very kind of the manager. The staff, at first said no, but then the manager stepped in and said ok.

Liked: Tours on offer - although expensive!Good room although no view.Good room service and food. TV a good touch when it worked but would have preferred a room on a lower floor - 4 floors with bags are not good but at leas the porter helped with one of our backpacks!

Liked: The hotel is located within a very busy bazaar which is excellent for all your shopping and souvenir needs! It is a 5 minute walk from Old Delhi Railway Station and 15 minutes from Connaught Place. It is a ideal base for visiting all Delhi has to offer.As for the hotel itself it is very basic but excellent value for money. The rooms are clean and quiet during the evening. Staff are very helpful and will attempt to cater for your every need. The airport pick up is also recommended and very reliable especially as our flight was late arriving.

Liked: Location is very convenient to New Delhi Rail Station and Connaught Place. Pahar Ganj is backpacker central - in the good and the bad ways. The staff were helpful. However, I never felt particularly secure at this place, but that was probably as much because of the neighborhood as the hotel.

Liked: I didn´t like that we booked and paid a taxi transport at night to the airport. when we came at night and wanted to go there the stafff had arranged no transport and it took a while to clarify that it is already paid. Then they arrange a taxi with no space for luggages. All this with no excuse and no one said even bye.
