Liked: The hotel does have a certain antiquated charm about it and the rooftop is a nice place to relax for an hour after braving the Main Bazaar. Also, the free airport transfer was a welcome aspect of our stay.

Disliked: Hot water was not available at all times and we ended up having stone cold showers in winter - not fun. The bathroom itself was large but dirty and there were no toiletries apart from a minute bar of soap. The cleanliness throughout the hotel is not up to standard - the rooms are grubby with thick layers of dirt and dust if you look closely and the rooftop tables and chairs have food debris on them. The service on the roof is incredibly slow. Overall, the price seemed very high for what you received. There are better bargains to be had in Pahar Ganj - have a look at places on Arakashan Road, for example.

Liked: Very nice and helpful stuff on desk. Also the kitchen is very good.But, every place are very dirty. The rooms are not clean. We have had very bad insects on room.And the stuff at rooftoprestaurant are not helpful and not busy.

Liked: there are different types of rooms and we got a bad surprise for the first night. We were probably the first people to book a room for this period (4 months in advance) and got the worst one : overlooking the dirty road, very old & noisy AC, no paper in the toilet. As we arrived late, the hotel was full & we asked to change room for the following night which they did & they even gave us the best room to make up for the first night.in fact there are at least three types of rooms :- bad (the one we got the first night) : overlooking the dirty road, small, old & noisy AC - normal room (the one our children got ) : with central AC- luxury rooms (the one we got the second night ) which is shown on the photo) : very big, nice furniture & central ACSo it is neither fair nor honest to give a bad room for the price of a good one...To avoid problems to next customers could you ask them to precise on the terms & conditions they provide a room with centralized AC so people are sure to get something OK
