Liked: Arya Niwas was in a good location - a little bit to far to walk to the old city but good access to the bus station/trains. Very good rooms at a good price and a fairly nice hotel.

Disliked: After eating at the resteraunt for NYE dinner, all three of us travelling got fairly sick. Although this was likely just the normal illness most people get after the first week or so in India, the staff were not massively helpful with extending our stay or helping us fine alternative accomodation (as we were in no state to spend the 6h on the bus to Jodhpur).

Liked: It is central, CLEAN, and staff are more than friendly. You can have lunch/dinner in the restaurant or in the nice & quiet garden that they have at a great price.

Liked: Standard of accomodation, professionalism, great value for money, facilities, lovely terrace and nice restaurant, tipping not expected or encouraged, held luggage free of charge until evening time after I checked out in morning was a huge bonus. General respect for tourists coming from western tradition

Liked: This is more of a hotel than a hostel - we stayed here for 3 nights and had a very relaxing and enjoyable stay. The staff here are lovely - we arrived at 5.20 in the morning after a 6 and a half hour bus journey from Delhi and the staff at reception checked us in straight away and charged us for a half days accommodation which was very fair of them. The hotels decor is traditional and the hotel is exceptionally clean. The restaurant serves good food at reasonable prices and again it is extremely clean. There is a business centre with Internet access and Skype and there is also a tour desk and the staff there were very helpful and well informed. I would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Jaipur - excellent value for money

Liked: Best place we stayed in India. Clean and great location. They have banned tips, which was awesome as it provides you with a refuge from the constant "as you pleases". Excellent garden where we had a nap in the sun. Cool squirrels. Noi pickup service. But met a great rickshaw driver. Young guy with excellent english and very trustworthy. He picked us up on the first day and then showed us around some less seen areas of Jaipur. Never pressured us about shopping and expensive restaurants and there were several instances where he was very honest with us (to complex to explain). Anyway, his name is Rahul. Liked: The garden where we could sit out and eat stuff from the cafeteria style restaurant. They organized dancers for Holi and a concert in the hall another evening. I also liked the rooftop as a quiet place to sit out. THey had internet from 7 am to 10 p.m. but a bit expensive. Excellent laundry service and not expensive.Their food was not lovingly made (slapped together, not heated enough,etc) and they have no breakfast pancakes. Service at the desk was patchy - if you get the wrong guy he is uninterested and unhelpful but several others are professional and pleasant.
