Liked: Near to Train Station, Clean Hotel.

Disliked: Staff was not courteous enough when I arrived early morning with kids. Though the rooms are available, I was not allowed to check in. Staff are not empowered and every decision was taken by hotel owner itself. Hotel is run by ex-military person, like military style. Information on local tour was not available at their front desk and they were not entertaining any inquiry.

Liked: Young couple from Australia. Stayed October 2011. We were extremely happy with Jaipur Inn. Located close enough to Old City that a rickshaw was not expensive, far enough away that it was quiet. Staff very friendly and helpful. Very comfortable and a great base to explore from. Would stay there again and recommend to anyone of any age. Also good for families with small children. ATM close.

Liked: The owner was very friendly and helpful. The hotel has a beautiful roof terrace were they light a fire in the evening. There are good facilities on offer including a book exchange and cafe. It's easy to get a tuk tuk from outside at most times of day. The room was very comfortable and quiet. Would definately recommend this as a place to stay.

Liked: The manager is extremely helpful and speaks excellent english. The food is delicious and good prices and the ensuite rooms are lovely (we even had electric heaters in the room since it was getting cold!).Hostels are always very hard to judge since people have different expectations but this place was clean, with big rooms and bathrooms. They were even waiting for shower curtains to arrive so that the whole bathroom wouldn't get wet, which is unusual in cheaper places in India.If you want luxury this is not the place but if you are travelling and looking for a cheap and cheerful spot, with good service, good food and a nice outside area for chilling in the evenings the Jaipur Inn is perfect.

Liked: We get room from hostels owners home when we get there. Our i-mail was not go to right place so hostel was full when we get there. They where very helpful and nice for us.

Liked: try to get a room with balcony overlooking the city! Beautiful. Peaceful surroundings - for Jaipur.

Liked: It was the cleanest hostel we stayed at in India. Rooms were very nice. Staff was friendly and helpful. The owner speaks excellent English.
